Yes they will, but still (edit below)...

@mmax on the matter of the BP hands, keep in mind they actually don't exactly match the dial either, they're a bit yellower/greener than indexes.

So all in all, either with BP or gen hands, the one wanting a perfect match needs a relume.

Hi @lukko , if you have had a chance to look at the new version, I would be interested in your opinion if it can be improved. I'm afraid the strange design of the bezel could make all additional efforts useless.

Sure mate, but actually i'm waiting the "ok" from my dealer to place the order because he tell me more than two weeks ago that actually there is a bit critic situation about raids in watch factories. Actually he tell me that can't get watch and parts unfortunally.

Just got my BP SD back from modding/building.

Specs are now :

Gen insert
Gen crown and tube
Gen hands
VS3135
Case worked : CG, lugs thinned, chamfers, polish/brush
Crystal polished and bracelet smoothened.

All in all, quite a different watch than the BP I received new a few weeks back, and much improved . Feels and look stunning.

The only concern now is about the gen hands : lume color in bright natural light is yellowish on the BP dial (predictable). 2 options then : reluming hands and dial indexes or downgrading back to the BP hands. Decisions, decisions...

I thought the same the difference is so small I had to specially look again at pics to even notice that and these are bigger than life zoomed pics not a small watch on your wrist.

Otherwise gen hands are a thing of beauty to look at

Need to have the SA3135 version that i’ve just ordered mate and see what i can do for better click and gen feeling.


Here’s complete specs:
-BP 2824 version
-gen tube blistered
-gen 704 crown blistered
-TC SD bracelet
-TC V3 hands set
-change hour, minute, seconds wheels of the movement to accept TC V3 hands
-modding case, lugs, crown guards and to accept gen tube
-modding bezel to have gen click sound and feeling
-gen 16600 luminova insert blisterd

What was done exactly to to have gen click sound and feeling? Is this even reachable?

Heyooo. My beloved BP SD bezel insert fell out at some point while I was working…

Anyone have an extra?

I have a gen insert, but I don’t have the heart to sand it down to fit the bezel ring.

Someone in M2M parts section just posted a Vietnam 16600 insert I think.
If I had a gen insert I would attempt to sand the outer edge of the steel bezel ring to get the gen insert to fit. I haven’t tried myself but that’s my plan when I get to that stage.

I did a couple months ago from Hont. It was the Polipetto dial though
