As mentioned earlier BP may reuse 93250 clasps instead of producing new 93160 ones. Although also marked 93250 the SELs are made to fit the SD case.
The BP SD-SEL is on the left, a RAF Sub-SEL on the right. In contrast to the RAF the BP SEL does not accept 2mm spring bars.
Differences become more clear when mounted. Putting the BP SD-SEL on a RAF 16610 (right side, stock on left). The BP SD-SEL is too thick to be a common 93250 SEL.
And vice versa the RAF Sub-SEL on the BP 16600 (right side, stock on left). The common 93250 SEL leaves a gap and can’t be fastened at all.
Finally, the BP SD with stock SELs on both sides. I don’t think it’s very different from the gen fit.
Built out of ignorance or lacking knowledge I don’t think the bracelet represents a dramatic flaw (the bezel is a different story though). Realistically, these 5 digit models are not longer mainstream and there is no competition among the factories to build the best ones. BTW, I replaced the wrong clasp with a 116610 model and now it’s a perfect wearable combination for me
