A fantastic watch. My BP 16600, 2014 version, with
- base BP 2014, case reshaped, chamfers recut by tripdog
- gen ETA2836 top grade
- gen 704 crown
- gen tube
- gen ”flat 4” insert
- startime bezel assembly (supposedly; according to tripdog, he never heard about startime offering 16600 bezels)
- TC hands
- TC DWO
- TC bracelet
The only way I could think myself upgrading into is a franken based on a 3135 version of the BP 16600, for the feel good effect of having a gen-like construction… but with the right parts that’s an easy doubling of the price of this watch.

Could anyone suggest a modder who could drill the lugs on my new BP 16600? I'm in the north east US.
Also if anyone's curious someone wrote "top 3135" in marker on the case back sticker. I wonder if that means I'm getting a decent movement.

I’m looking for a modder to drill lugs as well. I want to work on a 16660 rep.
There were rumors that some were coming with VR3135’s but I am not sure. They used to be SA3135’s or 2824s

I’m going to buy a case from a buddy of mine. Newer style, will build the rest of it out.
To the experts that have been here since the inception of the BP 16600:
is there an exhustive list of the different time period where BP did a variation to the model ? For example we know that the case shape has been improved slightly at one point in 2013, hence one could say that they were V1 and V2 ?

New BPF 16600. FYI the center links are hallow, couldn't find that info before. There is the small circle on a link to press for diver's extension. The sides of the links are not polished... I can't find the clown at 6 on the crystal, not sure if that's correct. 30 is misaligned on bezel insert. Movement is quiet and smooth.
Would like to get in contact with someone like @tripdog to give the case/bracelet a once over and to have lugs drilled. Been having trouble getting in contact with modders via DM.
