About the dial there is no problem because i’ve one for 3135 as spare parts, my question is about the overall dimensions of the 3135 movement in the 2824 case :) So maybe i just need to shave down a bit internally the caseback

Yes, that’s all that I did to make it work perfect.

Hey mate, are they the standard hands you would find on an 116660? I have one with a VR3135 and it needs new hands.

They are maxi hands in green lume. Can’t really think of anything that I would use them on unless I did a fantasy model.

sorry who are?
Just received a new 3135 BP SD and as always it's great on the wrist, all nice and overall good looking.

I already got a VS3135, gen tube + crown and looking for one of those WSO inserts as they look quite fine (BP is too bold IMO). Also looking for new hands has BPs are greener than dial indexes.

Mr BP I now have a question for you : what's with the fat crown guards ? The older ETA series had thinner/better shape did'nt they ?
correct man, new BP case has fat CGS and bezel construction, non gen like. but from what i see the indices are better

Quick update :
- I'll drop the WSO insert, the 5 at fifty has wrong shape on pictures. If anyone has one installed please post pics, but I'll probably will go for a gen one.

- Gen hands on the way 😎

Once I get everything it'll go for a good case work (can't stand those CGs) and parts install. Can't wait !

Playing with the bezel of my 3135 SD the inlay has come off. I found it was glued in. The whole bezel assembly is disappointing, especially the click sound is annoying. Cutting the click spring did not help either. Has anyone come up with a good mod yet?

I got a click spring off eBay. It’s super tight but it clicks really well. The original was a long piece of wire that was terrible

Is there any one in the USA who would work on improving the crown guards to closer to gen spec for me??

I’ve just ordered a 16600 with SA3135

The plan of this will be:
-VR3135
-modding case and crown guards
-gen blistered insert
-gen blistered crown 704
-modding click spring

Keep you updated about results of modding crown guards :D
Maybe then will be on sales sections because i’ve many watches in modding plan right now :ROFLMAO:

I tried with a sub click spring but it’s too thin to stay in place. I think my 3135 based bezel assembly is too different to work with a regular click spring, unfortunately.
