Anyone? The HE valve? Does it need to be sealed from the inside? I've googled and can't find a answer

I bought expensive epoxy, opened the caseback, removed the Movement and *hugh* wheres that HEV?
there was no HEV visible from the inside ^^
it is only placed from the outside.

Damn, I send my modded SD to Italy for a service but DHL lost my watch.

If you come across a SD with TC dial +hands + DWO, gen crown + tube + insert and gen Tissot eta 2836, please let me know.. Watch head only, I kept the bracelet.

I got the standard one a few weeks ago with the 2836. The bezel was a little loose so i made a new spring out of music wire and shimmed the retaining washer with plastic sheet. Now the bezel is super smooth, clicks into place confidently, and feels solid. I like this one so much that I'm now waiting for Toro to ship my Polizia Di Stato version (which will be getting some mods).
I'll just finish up by echoing what some many of us already know, this is a great watch.

Hi
do you received the polizia from toro ?

I did, its just as nice as the standard version.

Please can I see a pic? I read above that there is a improved version with print sharp write on the dial and a clasp 93250.
do you know that you watch is the improved version or is the old batch ?

Just sent the payment to Ryan for a 2813 one, this forum is seriously addicting, read through all of the posts since 2015 in this thread and ordered one directly.

Chose the 2813 because I'll probably also order some movements from China to play around with as my first forage into "watchmaking" and will probably use this watch afterwards as a guinea pig for mods and replacement movements are cheap when something breaks (no if in this sentence because something will go wrong 1000% :D )

Well I just pressure tested my stock BP sa3135 and it passed, this is my daily wear watch so I want it to handle everything I throw at it just like gen. My friend at the watch shop wouldn’t believe me when I told him it was a rep, he kept telling me to stop messing with him lol

Quick Q - does the cheap 21J version have the exact same case construction as the ETA clone? Reason I'm asking is I want to buy one to test out my modification skills on and if I damage it doesnt really matter.

(i.e) bezel assembly, crystal gaskets etc....are they all the same as the more expensive version?

@$$Bone$$ thank you very much ! :_o_:
now im very tempted to buy one..:daydreaming:but which ? if i buy the "normal" in the future i can change the dial with a gen, instead on the polipetto i have to find also a clean caseback.
the polipetto seem have improved writing more sharp and thin. do you have bought the "normal" SD years before ?
the polipetto have the clasp 93250 or 93160 ?
and the last Q between the lug which number are engraved MXXXXX so 2010 period ?

As far as I know they were the same. If one was planning to buy the bpsd and immediately install as swiss eta, tc dial and hands, it would make sense to start with the cheaper mode.

Thanks good to know. I think I'll bite and buy the cheaper version to tinkle with it.

I’ve ordered one with a 2824 from Lucy. I’ve asked her to have her watchsmith check over the bezel and make sure its waterproof before sending. Will update with QC pics once i’ve approved them.

Are there any differences between 2813 and 2824? (except for the movement ofc). Is the 2824-2 worth the extra? I have no intention of modifying the movement...

I’ve been daily wearing the crap out of mine. It needs a gen bezel insert though
