was there some issue with the watch? I know it is sometimes a crap shoot, but curious none the less.

Finally, I can join in this thread.....

Just back from my modder (well last week) my newly frankened BP/TC-SD

Specs are as follows:

BP SD Asian 2836 clone movt.
TC bracelet
TC hands
Gen dial
Gen bezel inset
gen-spec bezel click spring (cousins UK)

It's not totally perfect but for the cost compared to buying a gen version I am really happy that for less than a 5th of the cost I go something that looks and feels almost identical

The bezel is extremely loose, it jiggles around, the bracelet is really clanky sounding, and the hands lume do not match the dial lume. Thankfully, a soak in mineral oil for 24 hours does the trick, the bezel I just need to take appart and install gen click spring, and the dial and hands bother me some but I’ll be changing them out for gen.

I got the standard one a few weeks ago with the 2836. The bezel was a little loose so i made a new spring out of music wire and shimmed the retaining washer with plastic sheet. Now the bezel is super smooth, clicks into place confidently, and feels solid. I like this one so much that I'm now waiting for Toro to ship my Polizia Di Stato version (which will be getting some mods).
I'll just finish up by echoing what some many of us already know, this is a great watch.

Hi, can anyone confirm this is the newest version from BP Factory? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks! Sorry if I'm violating the rules by posting QC pics.

seedeetee yes it is the BP version of the SD 16600. There were no big changes the last time. They fixed the problem with the loosen clasp (93260) and mount now a 93250 clasp instead which is much better.
The rest of the watch is still same BP SD

71bucks yes it is this BP SD
Intime has no BP in the article description, but it is the BP

Anyone have a SA3135 version? Does it take gen parts like dial and hands?

Does anyone know if the HE valve is fake? Like does it go all the way thru the case? Will I have to deal the inside with epoxy for it to be waterproof?

Anyone? The HE valve? Does it need to be sealed from the inside? I've googled and can't find a answer

I believe it does need to be seal as it’s just pressed into place. I’m taking mine tomorrow to have it pressure tested. It’s stock out of the box all I did was tighten the bezel and mineral oil soak and clean for 24 hours and tightened the case back. I’ll report back tomorrow.
