After a few polishings they do have a tendency to develop their own shapes based on the amount of over polishing.

Just like Benjjis bezel it was paterned after a well polished bezel, which is why it looks so worn

Mine was one of the firstruns from early 2013 (January)

Please DR3M3L confirm... What model year was the BP SD you tried the mod... Mine for instance was bought March 2015. It's very important what Raddave said. It would be good news if this is related with the model year of the SD. Because if it's a plug n play mod I will definitely do it. Otherwise I will stay put!

From what I have been told the rep tube is a soft metal and the threads could strip and that's the reason for use of a WSO or genuine tube.

The best crown and tube combo i have for function is my athenas combo that B&S put on my single red, though because of ageing process the coronet dosent look that great so I dont know about appearance in its original form.. It just has a crap load of threads and the screw down is super nice.

I've been playing around with some configurations. I'm starting to like this one and wanted to share.

A TC BPSD Rouge. Built from a beat up bpsd, matte sprayed/texturized a tc dial (ok, I did this to hide some scratches), tc negative dwo, ym red seconds hand, cartel crown which I was told is quite close to gen spec...I'm not sure but I need a gen to compare it to.

I know it's not for the purists out there, but I'm all about fantasy builds. Call me crazy, but I actually don't mind telling people, if they ask, it's not genuine but custom. I built it. [emoji41]

I completely agree. It just blends with the dial better. I suppose it doesn't "pop" like the white background, so I can understand the argument for the original design.

That´s quite a super-job on the texturized SD dial This is how it compares to the Cadell Rouge Submariner

I would guess you can but the minute indices (tic marks) would be exposed. The sd rehaut had a smaller diameter so the tics would not reach the rehaut.

No HE valve in tc case.
