So why are there TC Sea Dweller Dials, Hands and bracelets?

From his site "I'm passing this bracelet as is. Don't ask me if I have Sea Dweller 16600, I don't and I'm not really interested in this watch I don't have any immediate plan for this model. I don't know if TC 93160A could fit on SSD or Super Lumed SD although members report it fits. I know for sure it fits on MBK/MBW SD but like I said, I'm not interested in this model so I don't have the watch, just the bracelet for now."

Yea I read that a long time ago but it seems to me that TC is in business and willing to make more than just the 16610. For instance I understand if he only makes the 16610 LN & LV but the Yacht Master is a far cry away from a classic 16610. The YM has a very different case, Dial and bezel insert. I'm just saying if he is such a purest the YM seems a lot further away from the 16610 then the 16600

Is the tc sd clasp as good as the gen? I have a gen gmt and the bpsd clasp is rattly and clanky vs the gen clasp. The metal on the gen is thicker than the bpsd clasp.

I don't know if the TC sd clasp is "as good as the gen" but it is a HUGE upgrade from stock. His bracelet/clasp is a must upgrade.

Exactly. I've bought a couple and between the feel and accuracy, they last longer than any other I've owned. That was the first thing I did to my BPSD when I got it. In fact, it was so good I didn't have to give it a baby oil bath.

Id be happy with that.
And just so you know the BPSD already has a DWO on it, but yours is just SLIGHTLY misaligned

To fix it you will need to strip the movement down , remove the DWO and readjust and remount it.

Not worth it IMO...yours is very close

I put TC DWO V4 on mine.... Well I mean someday, when I certain unnamed WIS finishes remodeling his house it will get done in the mean time I'm just going to buy more. I'm also very serious about converting a section of wall in my office to a giant Steam punk Watch winder....

Have any forum members had the gen crystal modded in? Someone in a previous mentioned Adrian had done this before, wondering what your take was on the gen. vs the stock BP crystal? Worth the effort?

Haha when that unnamed member finishes his house, I have a Franken explorer polar that's itching to come home. It will be worth the wait though. This guy is awesome

One or two have done it. I know two more that are getting it done as we speak. IMO it's worth it if you are going all out. Xtal height is to high on the bpsd. I would add gen insert, crown, and re work CG before I did that tho.
