What does bracelet swap for a new version mean?I was fortunate enough to try on the 16618 circa 1993/94 this week. Drilled lug holes. I know it’s not 1:1 with the BP but to my surprise I struggled to differentiate the weight. The old full gold version is very light weight compared to today’s full gold SubC.
With a bracelet swap for the newer version and keep old clasp we have a winner.

Solid vs hollow bracelet swap that will increase the weight to GEN spec. What does bracelet swap for a new version mean?
Why is a clasp change needed?I should be getting my 16613LB finally Monday.
I know for a fact that I am not good enough to do one of @KJ2020's awesome clasp protection jobs...
Any idea on a makeshift 93153-18 clasp?
Re-read what you quoted. Why is a clasp change needed?
Just received QC, and it looks like they haven't. But it's also a bit hard to be 100% sure due to the wrapping.Anyone have an update about the polished bracelet ends for the 16610?
Has BP addressed this yet?
It is not hard to do at all and you can not tell it is there. It will bring you piece of mind knowing it is protecting the watch. I highly recommend it!Re-read what you quoted.
