The BP at 13.4mm is considered fat.
Nothing wrong with a polished caseback other than it being technically wrong for model. I have one BP 16710 with a polished caseback.
This caseback from RT is more appropriate if you wanted to try a different one.

The real test is how it feels on your wrist
The BP 16710 rehaut aperture is 27.4mm, so it wont take a gen dial, which is 27.3mm.
Yukiwatch just came out with a nice new GMT ETA dial which would fit, but all his ETA dials have ETA date window placements. That would require sourcing an ETA DW with Rolex fonts, and changing the crystal or moving the cyclops. All things I done on other watches, but in the opposite direction. I don't want to do all that to move another step AWAY from gen spec.

Happen to he wearing mine today, hehe.
Looks like gen DW to me....what else did you change amigo?
That’s a gen coke indeed
This is ok ?
Thanks

Yes that's the one that has worked for many people. If you haven't read about it, there are reports of it not fitting on some rep samples.

Do you know how much this will reduce the case height?
I've used several different ones myself bro including the one shown below. Obviously this one isn't period correct for a 16710 but it's fine on a rep of this value if you aren't putting a lot of money into upgrades. You can shave off about 0.9mm usually.
Kj: I'm being nosy. Is that a Zeiss logo I'm seeing in the reflection?
Haha it is bro. I swear by Zeiss lens cloths and wipes. They are the absolute best for cleaning crystals, cases, hands, dial markers - you name it. I have 3 or 4 large cloths and keep them in separate zip lock bags to keep dust off between use.

Viet Case TRIPDOG, VR3185, Gen Dial (refinished), Gen Hands, Crystal, DW, Insert, Crown/tube, Italian 78360 from MarkiMark, Assembly Adrian, endlinks wso
This took well over 15 months with lots of idea and parts changes, Started out as a BP but we couldnt fit a Gen crystal and bezel even with lots of laser welding, I really should of started with Viet case
