Looks like its not available anymore. But I found a gen at 27.4 will this fit BP case KJ2020 ...I'm going back to read thread. My first BP 16710 arrived with Adrian so now I need to get on the ball. I sent him the watch, a Coke insert, a New ETA 2836 and a wish list. If I buy the gen dial I will need gen spec crystal for date window and cyclops line up???? Yes or No? As well as gen spec DWO to align in window?

OK so I am charging ahead hoping that Adrian can make this all work. I got a genuine refinished dial off eBay that looks great for low dollars, I got a genuine Great shape Serif coke insert and I know the Crystal that fits the 16610 is the same as the 16710 part number B25-295-CAR-C1. This is getting exciting.

The stock dial, DWO, and cyclops are in the Rolex date window position. But if you are changing all those anyway it's a moot point. You can add a gen 3135 DW as an overlay. 3135-16200.

Remember the opening for the crystal fits a straight edge profile 30.5mm. The gen is a stairstep profile and the bottom recessed step is 29.5mm (that's what the 295 means in the part number). So you will need a solution to make up the .5mm gap all the way around.

You either need a thicker gasket or use two. Leave the outer stock gasket in the opening. The inner gasket needs to be gen-spec (or gen), and needs to have the height shaved to nearly the same as the stock gasket. Then install it to the crystal and press the crystal in as the gaskets compress together. If it's really hard to get them started (and it probably will be), the lower outside bottom perimeter of the inner gasket can be lightly bevel sanded to permit easier commencement of the pressing. I've done this a couple times, once pressed it's plenty firm - unable to be pushed out with 2 thumbs is my standard of acceptable. If that isn't achieved, new or different gaskets need to be found. Ideally a single thick gasket could be used but I never found one.

This is the watch that was the subject of this thread, with a gen-spec crystal and 2 gaskets.

That Yuki dial has an ETA date window position. Otherwise it's pretty nice.

Thrasher The BP bezel will not take a gen insert without some modding to the bezel and/or the insert. The OD of a gen insert is ~ 37.6mm, the rep insert and the aftermarket I used is 37.4mm

Thanks for your Guidance KJ2020 I have some TC crystals and DWOs I will send to Adrian once the Dial and insert arrive. The insert...Who knows sanding it is to simple and may ruin the look so with Adrians help another solution may be in the works...Just look at the BP Sea Dweller thread to see what he can do. rockdaly the price and source vary from day to day but eBay and Chrono24 are always good.. You just have to search sometimes it takes an hour and sometimes it takes a month or two.

Received my Coke today.
Very impressed.
Will look to get a dial change, DW and Xtal. But for now will enjoy wearing this.

That really looks great can you give a link to the one you purchased from the dealer, that insert is fantastic
