I just got these from Trustytime, link to the watch.
Looks pretty decent to me. And there is no engraving.
Thank you to KJ2020 and muiramas for your advice and great shots of the watch which made me pull the trigger!

Trusty didn't send you the one in that link. That's a good thing because the one you got is a lot better. The one in the link is some unknown factory model long out of production. The one you got is the latest BP. It's the same one I reviewed but has the newer better dial - good coronet logo and no stick dial. Very nice piece at a great price.

I emailed Ken and he say this is gen-spec. USD16.50
I didn't get this yet, as my GMT project got pushed, making way for a Kermit LOL

The BP case will not take a gen caseback so if the Raffles caseback is truly gen-spec it will not fit.

I used one from an old DHGate 5 digit Yachti and a second one from a JKF 5513. The 5513 one is a smooth finish so not period correct but it's super thin and comfy so I don't care. I have also read that the caseback from a Tiger Concepts GMT case fits.

Sweet looking piece bro. I thought you already had one of these. I might grab another one just because a good one is available now, which is not always the case. Sead comes through again.

Oh man, do you happen to have measurement needed for this BP? RafflesTime case back is 30.5mm at threads, per their info.

I do have one and its been posted to Adrian ado213 for a movement service/replacement (I sent him a new swiss 2836), Case back sliming, and bezel insert change. I had my regular guy who is very good work on it but he screwed up the GMT/date function so Adrian has a lot more skill...I need to put together a list of modifications for Adrian to try.

So I got an extra as I would like to take this up several levels as I did with the Sea Dweller...Its just a matter of getting parts that are better and we can make fit through case modification

Quick questions for you. Please

Is there a better Crystal available?
Is there a better Dial available?
Are there any hands that are better and fit the ETA?
Better DWO? will a old TC DWO work?
Any Modifications you recommend.

Adrian is a great Machinist and if I give him the parts and a plan he can probably do it

Good to know I got a decent rep! Thanks again. Will post pictures when it arrives.

Okay 5513 from JKF have 30.9mm at thread size so ya CB from RafflesTime will not fit.
Oh man, the hunt began, again.

Guys please share here if you manage to find a thinner caseback to fit on BP

Is it me or does the coke insert from the Trusty QC have thinner (better) numbers relative to the Pepsi insert from the Sead QC??

The Pepsi and coke inserts are probably from different sources. The BP coke numerals are taller and have serifs. They also follow the curve of the inner perimeter. Some gen insert numerals had serifs. Others did not.

I have a gen/original Tudor bb gmt bezel insert. I wonder if there is any way to fit it into the BP 16710?
