The link is above. Though the image has engravings inside, I did not receive this on my version.

Thank You Sir. That Bezel insert is fantastic and i just sent trusty Time a email along with a link to this thread and your post as well as the link you supplied and the caveat that there be no rehaut engraving just like yours. I also shared your wrist shot with them.

KJ2020 Does the Wholesale outlet Bezel take a genuine insert? I'm back rereading the whole thread and got some conflicting info on page 15 I need to verify....During this reread I'm coping and pasting all valuable info into a word doc. mnkoshka your work is fantastic and I'm trying to document as much of it as possible to pass on to Adrian ado213

WSO bezels will take a gen insert. I had to sand off a little rough machining on the bezels for them to fit their own retaining ring (on a different watch). Not a huge issue. The WSO retaining ring will not fit the BP case without some modding though. There is no crystal retaining ring on the BP, and the case protrusion that acts as the crystal retaining border will be too big or small in diameter to allow a crystal retaining ring to be added without modding. The WSO bezel needs the crystal retaining ring to be attached to the case. One option I have used is to epoxy the retaining ring to the case, then adjust any spacing gaps with gaskets or glue. We are only talking about tenths of millimeters here, none of which is visible when everything is assembled. I use JB Weld epoxy and have never had any failures with it.

Hey mate, just to clarify I used the WSO bezel assembly on the case I modded to take gen crystal and bezel assembly, the quality of the assembly is not very desirable related to us cost. Tolerance is horrible. The insert basically just fell out of the first one I got lol... it’s hit and miss. I used an old TW assembly And works fine. I’ll be selling the modded case I think as I’ve just fully welded and modded an old TW 16610 cases crown guards to 16710 spec, I will re-drill the for the case tube at the stem hight for a VR3185 and use a gen dial and hands... this will give me a full gen spec 16710 case. I just need the stem hight measurements for the VR3185 as I haven’t got the movement yet

I will have Adrian ado213 machine the case to take a genuine spec retaining ring....I will buy all the WSO gear and will also ask him to machine the back of the case like mnkoshka did

I have even been looking at Genuine Bezels and retention rings. Right now I'm moving forward studying parts and buying. If Adrian can do it I think all this should turn out fantatic like my Sea Dweller builds. Not really woried about buying to many parts either genuine or rep as I can always sell what I dont use.

mnkoshka Keep me in mind when you go to sell.

Well Trusty Time emailed me and said engraved rehaut only......Per BP factory....Oh well I will wait..But damn yours has a beautiful Insert.

I think Trusty is wrong about that - somebody is just going by the old discontinued pic. BP hasn't engraved vintage GMT rehauts recently AFAIK. His is the exact same one I reviewed except with a better dial. Same insert, same clean rehaut.

So here is a Little update Adrian has the first BPF 16710 I sent him along with a new swiss ETA 2836, He will machine the case to accept a genuine Bezel, Crystal and Dial. We have several options for the case back as I found two low profile casebacks in my parts supply. I might have him machine the step off anyway along with this case back.

I have ready to ship to him a nice refinished 16710 gen Dial and Gen coke serif insert along with a TC DWO and TC V7X crystal and gen gasket and soon I will have two Complete Bezel assemblies from WSO with two bezels, Click springs, Tension washers and retention rings. I got two in case of fit and finish issues, If I have to go genuine I will.

Today I received a second Pepsi BPF 16710 and was able to test all my spare case backs. I found two that reduce the whole thing from 13.5mm to 12.5mm. Oddly they were marked as 1675 case backs from raffles time of course that could be a mix up as I had cartel case backs and unidentified others.

This new 16710 from Sead looks I think a little nicer, The crystal seems better and the DW serifs I hadn't noticed before really look nice.

I have asked Sead to get yet another BPF 16710 this time with coke insert because they have such incredible serif inserts.....Trusty Time said they could only get engraved rehaut and everytime Sead talks to his supplier they tell him engraved rehaut only but clearly this is not the case so I hope for the best, I also asked him to Try and get a couple BPF Coke inserts on the side..

Another strange thing this new BPF 16710 has a silver movement with a plastic movement holder, when I put it on the Time graph its doing phenomenal numbers 0-3 S/D fast and 300 Amplitude at 50 degrees lift and 28K BPM

Here are some pictures of the most recent arrival #2 BPF 16710...I'm still waiting for those WSO bezels so I can ship everything to Adrain. The watch you see here I think I will leave bone stock.

Is this what the movement normally looks like? For some reason I thought it was gold with Brass spacer
