So here is a Little update Adrian has the first BPF 16710 I sent him along with a new swiss ETA 2836, He will machine the case to accept a genuine Bezel, Crystal and Dial. We have several options for the case back as I found two low profile casebacks in my parts supply. I might have him machine the step off anyway along with this case back.
I have ready to ship to him a nice refinished 16710 gen Dial and Gen coke serif insert along with a TC DWO and TC V7X crystal and gen gasket and soon I will have two Complete Bezel assemblies from WSO with two bezels, Click springs, Tension washers and retention rings. I got two in case of fit and finish issues, If I have to go genuine I will.
Today I received a second Pepsi BPF 16710 and was able to test all my spare case backs. I found two that reduce the whole thing from 13.5mm to 12.5mm. Oddly they were marked as 1675 case backs from raffles time of course that could be a mix up as I had cartel case backs and unidentified others.
This new 16710 from Sead looks I think a little nicer, The crystal seems better and the DW serifs I hadn't noticed before really look nice.
I have asked Sead to get yet another BPF 16710 this time with coke insert because they have such incredible serif inserts.....Trusty Time said they could only get engraved rehaut and everytime Sead talks to his supplier they tell him engraved rehaut only but clearly this is not the case so I hope for the best, I also asked him to Try and get a couple BPF Coke inserts on the side..
Another strange thing this new BPF 16710 has a silver movement with a plastic movement holder, when I put it on the Time graph its doing phenomenal numbers 0-3 S/D fast and 300 Amplitude at 50 degrees lift and 28K BPM
