Here some pictures of the most recent arrival #2 BPF 16710...I'm still waiting for those WSO bezels so I can ship everything to Adrain. The watch you see hear I think I will leave bone stock.

Is this what the movement normally looks like? For some reason I thought it was gold with Brass spacer

If any of you guys can give me guidance on how to source a thin caseback holler. Raffles does not have. What can I ask a TD for specifically that would fit??

I think it's just luck of the draw on movement color bro. I've never had a preference or cared which I got. I've mixed part colors more than once when doing repairs.

When I first saw it it looked weird and I thought it could be something other than a 2836 but it's kicking out 28K BPM plus the time keeping and amplitude is the best I have seen in years from a rep straight from China

You could try a JKF 5513 Case Back,,,,,Not sure but That's what I hear. In my Vintage box it turns out I had 5 extra case backs, pretty sure from Vintage projects 1675, 5513, 5517 ...Two were perfect one is on this watch, the other one goes to England and maybe if Adrian shaves the step we can do better than 12.5 mm though it won't remove the .3 mm from the mid case..It might sit even lower on the wrist and give the illusion of a thinner midcase

Hi all, I got my BP 16710 recently. I placed an order on June 7th from Trusy, got QC on 9th, got FedEx tracking code on 15th, received a package on 16th. The package was sent from Hong Kong and arrived at my place (Tokyo) only 12 hours after I got the tracking code. Happy with the speed but kind of disappointed with how the bezel insert was crooked, which wasn’t obvious on QC pictures.

I’ve read some articles about how to remove the bezel, but it looks very tough and I’m pretty sure I would screw up. So instead of removing the bezel itself, I came up with an idea to lift up the insert only with a strongest tape in my house. I used a double sided tape but I guess any strong tapes would work. I taped and lifted it up about 20-30 times patiently, and finaly I got enough space to insert my nail to remove the insert. Now my watch looks awesome!

Good job bro. Gorilla tape works great for this task. Strongest stickiest thick tape I've ever used!

This is brilliant , Really you did a great job. Congratulations. I notice the REHAUT has no engravings. What watch did you order (Link Please) and did you ever talk about Rehaut engravings with Trusty?

@KJ2020
Thank you. I’ll try Gorilla tape next time. Your posts are really helpful.

@Thrasher
Thank you. Here’s an actual link I purchased from on June 7. I haven’t talked anything about the rehaut and the watch with Trusty. Like other people here, my watch came without engravings.

TSwatch says there are 2 versions; with or without engravings on the rehaut.

nice to see the continued accumulating knowledge in this thread

My DG3804 ICHS movement powered Coke from Nembo's continues to tick along!

My bezel is a little loose and sometimes slips a bit from regular contact.
My insert is off by half a click. It annoys me a little. I may have to do that pull off system with the gorilla tape and re-glue it on. Any particular glue recommended?
The watch does sit a bit high with the thick caseback. I may get the Tiger Concept caseback- darn it seems the 5508 caseback is sold out

I’d also like to find a slimmer case back for my BP 16710. Does anyone know of other alternative options out there that don’t involve buying a full watch?

While the insert is out, if you can reach the octagonal wire easily, taking it out and putting some slight upward bends in a few of the sections will tighten up the looseness.

For insert replacement these are great bro

https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-PCS-3M-AD...4AAOSwIlBel8s8

They are ultra thin so some bezel/insert combos need 2 layers. That doesn't necessarily mean 2 rings. The large centers are the same double-sided material. I cut out small arcs, maybe 5mm long from the middle and then test one thickness. If the insert isn't sitting flush, remove it and test 2 layers. Put a flat toothpick under the insert opposite the test strips to easily lift the insert back up after testing. I do the same when final mounting to make certain the placement is perfect. Set the 12 lightly, evaluate. If satisfied remove the toothpick and press fully. You can make 6 double stacks out of one ring plus some middle pieces for example to save material.

This stuff is extremely sticky and very strong but it should not get wet repeatedly. I don't get my watches wet, but many ppl do so that needs a different solution like epoxy.

Hey guys, just a quick question on the clasp.

Does it have a firm snap or does it feel loose and opens with ease? Any input is greatly appreciated.

BP clasps are OK regarding security. 5 digits clasps can be adjusted more so than 6 digit ones. They are thinner metal so are more bendable to make them close tighter, or make the fliplock more snug.

BP 5 digit bracelets are also known for having some sharp edges. I've spent up to an hour on every one I've had smoothing sharp corners and edges. Just the price we have to pay.

I think I have read this thread about 3 times in its totality... and I keep coming back. Does that mean I should get one of those BP?

Little sexy thing...

Ps: thank you KJ2020 for the insane amount of information you have put in this thread
