Do you know if this is gen spec and will Press-fit like gen ? Have my doubts when they state in description that adhesive pad is included for installation…Horlogear have a Flat 4 insert

It's advertised that it will, but it's been measured here as the smaller common OD of ~37.4mm. Gen insert OD is ~37.65mm so the Horlogear insert will leave a small gap to the inside of the bezel rim in a gen or gen-spec bezel.

I put a horlogear insert in my ARF 16610 and it snapped into the bezel like it was made for it. No adhesive needed. I've been wearing it daily for 9mo without issue.Do you know if this is gen spec and will Press-fit like gen ? Understood. For the crap lume on the LV, has it improved at all? Should I just get an LN and replace the bezel? /get a bezel from the TD? What’s the best path forward. Ideally anyone willing to sell theirs in the next couple of days please let me know as well. In the west coast, US.
New here, but I'm considering doing the same. When you build one yourself, where do you get your dials and hands from? This is why I just use the Alibaba cases and build what I want
It may or may not be cheaper to build it yourself, depending on if the complete item is bought used or new, where from, how you buy the parts etc.New here, but I'm considering doing the same. When you build one yourself, where do you get your dials and hands from?
When it's all said and done, do you save any money by building it yourself?
Have you used the Sillan dials and hands? I've built many a Seiko mod so I have some level of experience with the process, but getting into reps has been an entirely new rabbit hole - especially when it comes to sourcing parts and their differing levels of detail/correctness.It may or may not be cheaper to build it yourself, depending on if the complete item is bought used or new, where from, how you buy the parts etc.
In any case, the benefit of building your own is that its a lot of fun and you learn a lot. It is also a hobby without a ceiling in that there is so much to learn you will never know everything, its like a journey.
I got a used raf dial and hands some time ago that I have in a watch. More recently I got a dial and hands which I think are silian, the hands don't look identical to the raf ones but are close. Here is a link to the build with the raf parts:Have you used the Sillan dials and hands? I didn't like the difference between the luminescence on the hands and dial so I repainted the luminescence on the hands.
