These popped up on trusty today.

Challengers for the crown of best out of the box 16610, or amateur league?

pip isn't centered on the LN. Probably going to pass on these, I already have too many 5digit subs as it is

Case have similar thin crown guard, or maybe even slimmer, as ARF/RAF/SILIAN case. Maybe it’s the same case? Indexes are too flat, ARF is better.

I purchased it in mid-February and thought I’d share a few pictures.

Hey Guys, i have a problem. The 6 o´clock indicator got loose and is flying around inside the watch now.
I have never opened a watch but i want to try to fix it myself. Do you think i can do this?
Or do you know a watchmaker in southern Germany, Bavaria?

Greetings

This is a punishment for buying fake watches 😂 dials in general are really fragile so if you have no experience and no tools it’s not hard to predict the result. IMO it can be glued if someone will accept that kind of work, or easier just order a new dial from TD and get it replaced

Hypo cement and steady hands, its not a huge task, but these are very small parts :)

Screw of the caseback, loosen the 2 movement screws, pop the movement out and carefully HC the hourmaker back on, let it cure for 24 hours, reverse the process

Replacing the dial, would be more work :)

I'm not so sure about this. The dial might already be scratched from the loose indice moving under the crystal. Combining glue with the dial seems tricky, it's very easy to leave glue marks that can never be fully removed. Plus, we need to keep in mind that the OP has no tools, no experience, and doesn't know any watchmakers in his area.

So, the question is, if he does find a watchmaker, will that watchmaker be replica-friendly? Will they be willing to work on a damaged dial and achieve a flawless, seamless glue job with proper alignment? Or will they simply go for a swap, which is often the standard approach for experienced watchmakers.

I see, what you mean. So it wonders me, there is no clamp or anything under the marker? No holes for it in the dial? Just glued by factory? Is that also standard in the gen ones?
The cheapest tool set to open it costs just a couple o´bucks on Amazon. I think i´ll give it a try. I think i have to...

There should be a hole under the index on the dial for the index foot, but the index probably broke off. I can't really tell from the photo, so you'll likely need to glue it back. Glue and a dial is a bad combination without experience, so good luck! When you have the dial exposed, an air blower will come in handy because dust will definitely stick to it, and you'll need to get rid of it 😊

There are holes in the dial, and there are taps on the back of the hour maker. This is not complicated :)

Dont use glue, use Hypo Cement like I wrote above.

Caseback opener, a watch screwdriver, and a steady hand. If it doesn’t work out, send it to a watchmaker. Let’s not make this into a bigger ”operation“ then it is.

No. Either you didn’t screw in the crown properly or you accidentally partially unscrewed the tube back out whilst turning the crown. Closer up pictures would help.

It's fully screwed, I received it like this from the seller.

Is there anything I can do?

Which Trusted Dealer sold you this ARF?
Could well be a RAF.

Maybe just my eyes but pearl looks to be higher than the normal ARF insert, has the pointier RAF / Sillan crown guards, common RAF tube gap. Plus how many TDs have confused the two factories?
