Looks really good in this pic. Clarkent wins! (and so do we all).

Look at the number 1 the 18 vs the 1 in the 16. As they are relatively close together (but you could see the same in the 10, 12, & 14).

The 1 in number 16 looks noticeably thicker... I think you win KJ lol. I find this odd because the 18’s 1 digit is in the blue part of the insert as well.

You're right but also the 18 on a gen has a bit more space between 1 & 8 in order to nr. 14.

Anyway I think this is one of the best blnr inserts out of the box at the moment, but as I know ARF don't make part sale for these, so could be hard to source one of theses, if you don't want the hole watch.

Agreed. This is going to become the new watch you have to buy just to get the insert. Like the Noob Pepsi. ARF factory owner must be related to the SH movement factory owner, real bummer about that.

Definitely some truth to what you say bro. Some of the difference could be attributed to slightly different lighting and angle of view. The difference in the 2 and 4 between the PT pic and the Angus wristie is dramatic. The whole 18 looks thicker in the wristie as well. I think overall it's better than I originally thought.

I found a distributor who can source the noob Pepsi insert now, but its not cheap and very very hard to get a good one, I tried to order four of these but I had to reject all four inserts 2x because the transitions at 18 were always wrong. I end up with only two of these because they wasn't able to get me all four with correct transition positions.

Yea not bad at all. Tempted to grab one and do a movement swap as I love my ARF116710LN.

I know ZZF has been working on the LN and BLNR w/VR3185 movement, but keep having delays. Was trying to hold out for one of those... but if this looks nice in hand, I might cave.

Yeah their latest batch has really bad transitions. VRF is worse, I took a screenie of one where the blue extended completely beyond the 8. Nice.

Hoping it’s just angle, light, and I see reflection on most of the black bezel part. Same pic here where the 2 has less reflection than the 20 and 22

Anyone able to tell if this version has the crystal height problems that other factories (GMF) have?

TD pics conveniently prevent you from seeing the crystal height. This is a consistent tactic, though I have seen some exceptions.

When are these anticipated to come out roughly?

Not terrible, i have ARF LN GMT and also had a Noob GMT, side by side Noob looked like a joke. I think ARF is superior in every aspect. This is no different, while I agree both have crappie movements and i changed mine to VRF with a decent datewheel, the Batman probably will benefit from a VRF movement as well. I think the insert on ARF LN is very close to Gen, i have replaced mine to Gen but i really did not have to! I am assuming the same type of similarly with BLNR. I think this is the best insert despite its flaws with bolder fronts, which BTW I am sure will be fixed before version 5... lol.

My main concern is if the plating will last?

Yeah, given it's been an issue on other factory's versions, I'm suspect it's any different given the sample images. lol

Pocket change by next year's standards, lol. Don't forget a gen crystal and DW if the VR isn't good enough for you. But you end up with a very nice piece, at 10% of the cost of a gen. Those are $15 ‐ 16K now.

https://www.bobswatches.com/usearch?query=Barman&search-submit=

That is true maybe 5 years from now 1k is the standard entry cost for reps (I hope this day never comes)
I still think 1k for a arf just modded is a lot to start a Franken build even if the market is over inflated with the prices. Like the hulks don’t even get me started on the markup price of those lol

Overall it’s the best option for a Batman from the pictures but it’s going to be pricey
