I almost pulled the trigger on a Noob BLNR yesterday, at the moment I'm holding off, but plan to make my order within the next couple weeks.

Bold font on blue is a design flaw. They are using a ceramic "layer" on top of black ceramic which would make the font look thinner on the blue side. The engineer considered to compensate that by using a bit bolder font on the lower side, but obviously they overdid it.

ARF insert will satisfy some, maybe many. I hope so. Blue field fonts look thicker even in a similar lighting environment as a gen.

everything can be improved. the real and unique problems of this model are simply: SH3186 and date. the bezel, in the size / thickness of the numbers you will be able to see it only and always with enlarged photos placed next to each other. i seriously doubt that an arf insert like this can be judged negatively once put on the wrist. to date it is the only insert that does not have problem 18 and 6 and a numerical white paint. I continue to congratulate puretime for this beautiful product that with a few simple mods can easily be compared to a gen.

You need to put a gen crystal and gen DW in these reps anyway to make them somewhat passable

@KJ2020 can explain it better. There's a thread out there as well about the magnification error on the ARF's.

The mag is 3x, not 2.5x, on a stock ARF crystal on a GMT. So when you replace with a gen crystal, the magnification will be 2x, not 2.5x.
