Apsf 15450

Does the gen 15450 have a larger handbase as well? I have been looking at pictures online it looks like that the 15450 has a different handbase with 14400 and 15500. If it does have a larger handbase, the current APSF 15450 is good?

No they do not.
The reason why they look bigger is simply because of the proportion of the hands base in relation to the smaller dial.
On Royal oaks, the hand base is never the issue, not for 15400, 15500 and 15450. The issue with some of the rep models is the look of the center pinion.

Isn't the pizza hand base also an issue? Or it's already fixed by ZF and APSF?

That was an issue in the 15202, but not for the 15500, 15400 or 15450.

DP dials are no longer in production but you can buy remaining stock.

the updated stock dial appears to be even better than the DP, with the 12 o'clock indices being shorter

Nope. Only the gen has the correct tapisseries pattern.

My guess is you have to see which of the two has less flaws or closer to what gen has. However if APSF has better overall quality fit/finish I think that is the model that should get the nod because a dial that has a few variations in gen would not be a big deal....
