For cheap tubes you can use a torx bit that grips the inside diameter even with a friction type, I twist out. Not sure if the Pagani is a twist or screw type however.

Most cases only take 6.5mm else the crown gets stuck by the crown guards
I think it’s the newest PD 1701 V6, it’s what I intended to order. There are a couple of folks here active on this thread who are very familiar with the various versions and the subtle differences, they can probably inform us from my picture what version I‘m showing to be sure.
And don’t order that 7mm! I usually use 6.5 for my generic case builds but even that will hit the crown guards of this 1701. I ordered a couple 6mm once I realized this, that’s what you see on mine.

The crown is taller from base to top, yes
Not much of an issue but you need to know
Depending on the case it can look good or plain ugly. It works best with cases with big crown guards

I discovered that but did not think to detail it. I didn't see much of an option for this Pagani build as I wasn't going to grind down the 6.5mm crown or grind on the case.

Do you have a photo of your v6 from top view with the crown mounted and screwed in?
You can compare this to my picture in post #1156 on page 58 of this thread. Back one page from here, about halfway down.
That was original crown, this below is with replaced Omega branded crown.
