Yeah I'm UK and have always got stuff in the post. Customs bar-stewards seem to have a renewed 'energy' lately for the UK. I keep getting notifications that things are getting through or stopped at customs. Latest one says a £37 charge, but no idea what that is yet (It could be a couple of Moonswatches from the gate or some clothes or a homage from Alix) WTF!
Yeap! I've been having a load of stuff arrive without issue and then my latest parcel is due something to be paid. I really wish they'd just make their mind up and be consistent with what is allowed and what isn't. I feel like they make it up as they go along!

Not to revive a really old thread, but does anybody have the links to where the two watches were purchased? I have looked and I see tons of them and I am not sure which ones to order.

thank you,

mechanical. I doubt it or not simple.
and while it is a super pretty watch, the price sorts of defeats the toy watch concept 😅
yea it’s mechanical (ST19) so the pusher positions may not line up correctly with the PE50.

yes it is prohibitively expensive, way too much for this project. No idea why I even bought this thing, lol. I already have this watch, it’s pretty much a paper weight so I may as well give it a shot. I think I’ll try it this weekend.

It's a nice watch as is.
I like San Martin watches. They are great to wear when you don't want to wear a rep.

Hmmm I tired to do the metal mod but after completing. I noticed the pe50 movement stopped working. Chronograph works but time isn't working. Does anyone have any insight on what went wrong or a potential fix? Thanks in advance!

did you change the stem?
If you did not do it, the stem is too short. the crown catches the thread and stays in date set or time set mode

Thanks for responding in the other thread, nope. Not the stem issue. Tried in and out of the case and even back in the original rep plastic case. Seems like something to do with the movement itself

Same thing happened to me buddy. I done the frozen subdial mod, all worked well for a while but then the movement stopped altogether. I can hear ticking and the chrono works on occasions, but I suspect I’ve buggered the flaky movement or haven't seated a hand properly…

Replica oblivion…
trying with the branded case - movement is a straight swap - just the pushers to mod and a stem to cut - prefer the mars over the mercury I think
And for $50 on sale there is also this…

What are the options on the pagani Alaska project for a dial swap ?

I just received this ( VK movt ) and was immediately thinking of a dial swap ?

Case and bracelet are excellent quality and it has saphire crystal. Would just need the moonswatch dial and signed crown ?

Pagani case and bracelet are really nice
with a black bezel, anything goes

You can search for my threads in the Omega section. I have explored quite a few combos, and will continue to do so

that PG case has a nice bezel in it - note the different spellings of Tachymeter - the moonswatch dial + movement as a single unit if it fits - the crown you'd use the one with the PG and cut a new PE50 stem to fit?

Hey @Caboose , what's the difference between v1, v2,v4? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6381997/files
  • V1 - Original design, unchamfered edges which sometimes caught when closed the caseback
  • V2 - Chamfered edges, different logos for different regions (flags, etc.)
  • V4 - Chamfered edges, widened holes near pushes to accommodate more cases
  • V4c - Same as above but narrower diameter for different casebacks
  • V4b - Same as V4, but single diameter instead of double diameter for some cases
V4 is going to fit most stuff and should be good. You can also always trim V4 to become a V4c or a V4b, which is nice!

I'm thinking of building one of these myself. Does anybody know the size of the rep Moonswatch dials?

you don't need to know the size.
Just grab a VK63 case and a holder and it will work
These holders you speak of - is it possible to get them shipped to Australia? Or is a better bet to find somewhere that does 3D printing like I believe someone else has commented?

P.s. big fan of your work!

Find a local library or makerspace to print you some. These print in like 20 minutes max on a slow printer!
