I've almost done the same. I have enquired with a couple sellers about some Mitchell & Ness snapback caps, they seem a little inconsistent model to model with accuracy, ie. the colour I wanted (Maroon/teal Mighty Ducks) didn't have the green under the bill like it should, but all the other colours that seller had did. So I ended up buying the gen version of what I wanted (Which sucks balls being Aussie, that was a $60 hat I just bought...) and instead I'm about to pull the trigger pending a response from the seller on the same hat but in a different colourway which is accurate with the green bill. So I can even do a side by side comparison for the thread!

I don't follow the NHL though, I just like the design and I saw Mighty Ducks as a kid so that's my rationale. Best of luck to the Anaheim Ducks while I wear my hat though :p

EDIT: So it pays to check. Even though the seller has the brand name in the title and the description says all the hats have the original branding just not shown because of Ali rules, I got him to send me photos of it and surprise surprise it is totally unbranded. But the other hat colour in the listing had all the correct branding. Totally random if the hat is accurate or not even just changing colour on the same listing! No rep hat for me.

It smells like a mix of poo, vomit and compost. So I think it is an fair description. You think I am joking, it is also 10 feet long, I could send samples to everyone in this thread and it would still be too long.
Also the wrong color.

It's got the correct arms which is a good sign. Bad fakes have fatter arms with the rayban logo on them. There is not supposed to be a logo on the arms.

The lenses are glass which is good too. They will have some decent heft. Be sure to message him about lens color. Also, I would add, that the body of the listing mentions 2 pairs for $16 and change each. I would message the seller regarding the price change and ask if the price is for two pairs. I'd also ask if the lenses are UV400.

I hope you guys are like me and don't have to wear ties too often, but for those who need some, I rolled the dice on some incredibly cheap, unbranded handmade silks and came out pleasantly surprised. These arrived today - nice fabric, fully lined, vibrant colors and decent stitching. The price... $2.25 each, delivered to the US in about 12 days.

Ties are the one thing that is good on Ali, since all silk comes from China anyway. Ebay has great ties from China as well, and it has real live Americans that rate them.

Ive ordered cheap silk ties on ebay from china in the past and while the quality is pretty dang good, make sure you know the width when ordering. A couple of the ones I got are so wide I feel like Im in a 70s episode of the "Streets of San Francisco". :D

The jeans and pants are good. You have to watch for the size. Some do Asian size which is approx 2 to 2.5 sizes smaller. I've received DSquared, Diesel, Burberry, D&G, and Tommy pants and jeans. The first couple came with tight legs so I'm thinking they are slim. The rest came as ordered which I confirmed with seller as straight. They are all real nice except for the zipper is crap.Average cost per pair at boutique is $300 and I paid fron $19 to $39.

I'll post some pics up when I get mine. I don't have a gen of this one to do a comparison with tho unfortunately. The last one I bought I had a gen if but didn't get any comparison shots before I have it away. However the material was slightly off, a little thinner... The color of logos were slightly off too, with the NFL logo on the back slightly bigger than gen.
