Yeah that's a fair point with the price vs value. Totally agree on that. The few that have appeared on m2m with gen' spec' viet cases are usually in the 3k euro range which is steep! Like you say, with your AliX-Raffles build you're most of the way there at a pinch of the price..

For me it's mostly about the proportions, the gen 14060 is a stunning watch in real life. And if I had the spare cash it would probably be my first gen' purchase. Would just nice for someone to make a more affordable home for all these lonely gen' 14060 dials..
For $3k, I'll step up to the gen at that point. And the only option for the lonely gen 14060 dial is the BP, IMO (or ARF depending on year as ARF does not have rehaut engraving if you don't want it). You don't have to clip the feet, so the gen dial retains value. Easy decision there.

Found this online. I’m sure KJ knows off the top of his head with that vault of knowledge.

Pretty pleased with the Raffles case I used for my build, with a VR3130 under the hood. I suspect the pip is inaccurate, and maybe the insert and general dimensions - but it scratches the itch for me.

My issue with the Raffles case is that rehaut. Just looks off to me!
