Thanks to this thread, I worked up the courage to drill holes in a BP case and it came out great. (y)

That’s great bud, I still haven’t plucked up the courage but definitely the final touch to mine that’s needed..

can someone build one for me ?? This is peak submariner

Some builds do come up every now and again on m2m, but it’s not that crazy on a difficulty level If you wanted to build one yourself, I like to tinker with things and wanted to have a go and it’s all pretty straightforward really.. and it’s lots of fun!

I honestly bought multiple cases till I found one that "felt" right to me.

This Ali Express case looks good.

Intriguing is this case preferable to the new BP 16610 case for a 14060 build
Really depends on what you are looking for. For me, who doesn't want to do a lot of case work, this is great. Already drilled lugs, thinner all around than the BP 16610 (which I also own, I can do a side by side once the new cases arrive, please remind me in 2 weeks). Visually, obvious flaws of this case include:
  1. Bezel too thin
  2. Crown guards not correct, too thick (but drilled holes so that's a plus!)
  3. Lugs are still too thick compared to gen 14060

Very helpful, wonder if gen insert would help?
