I have struck a deal with Jeremy of Prime Straps. I am sending him the rubber strap from my V6 to use as a template in the hope that he can create a croc or gator strap.
Keep your fingers crossed. I will keep you posted
I have received my ABB today, the quality of the watch is outstanding. The sandblasted ceramic is great, the weight of the watch is 137 gr compare to the SS Ceramic which is 156 gr. Depending on the light conditions, the dial is from complete black to blue. The strap is more dark then on the pics. It is an outstanding watch.
And as always, screws needed loctide !!!!
here are some pics, done with the iphone, my camera is already packed for vacation.
Thanks guru for sharing this beauty.
My thoughts:
- Great ceramic sandblasted finish
- Nice dark blue colour of the strap
- Nice dial light effects and colours
- Well raised crystal (it semms more than old models)
The worse IMO:
- Very light blue colour of plastic insert between case and bezel, very plastic like.
- Uneven black finishing and quality of H screws. (Perhaps is a pic problem)
But we need to wait for more pics with a better camera.
Overall awesome and well looking watch.
To the wishlist directly

The date wheel color is also wrong! Should be blue instead of black!
DW is not black

+1...and I also hate it when people post their QC pics in the forum and ask memebrs how it is...there is always a person which finds something in a macroshot.
the dealer was unsuccessful in making the screws sit flush, but managed to damage the screws in the process. the dealer went on to replace the screws, but then I noticed from the side view that the case wasn't properly assembled. I brought this to the dealers attention, she completely agreed, apologized, and told me to expect a new set of QC in a few days.
this is my second rep & $450+ is a lot of $$ for me. I was just hoping to get some expert opinions and advice from the community...not stumble upon a grumpy old fart...
ALE, thank you for a great thread, and good luck for the Rookie award![]()
Quick question: Is the Hublot V6 rotor better/worse than the rotor Tony (Asian7750) is currently offering in terms of likeliness to gen?
I've seen a few people make the mod, but to me it appears that the original V6 rotor is already accurate?
Hi Cee
Look at the Index in the first post
There are some posts related to rotors and modds.
You have even a post of mine indicating the gen rotor types, because there are two types, and rep ones, and comparisons.
If you don't find them tell me it
