Has anyone noticed the sharp bezel to insert transition on the ZZF-V2?
As soon as I touch it, it's a dead give away compared to my gen.
Is the only option a gen bezel assembly? I am assuming a gen insert would also sit low.

Don't know, never noticed on any of my Sub-reps or my gen. Those are imo microscopic details that is something that has been blown out of proportion by some. Anyway, here is how mine looks.

Maybe it's clear when zoomed x5 like this but on the wrist with a normal sight... not so much..

Yeah I know what you mean by it being a dead give away every time I wear my reps people on the streets are touching them to feel the bezel to insert transitions. Utterly embarrassing situation every time.

Couldn't say it better myself. The words "dead give away" and "instant tell" are used far to often here...

"slightly different from gen" would make more sense.

I meant more for myself. Kind of like if you have a chipped tooth your tongue will always go to it.

Some I've seen keep the ZZF SELs and swap it from the first links with the pins as ZZF mostly has a better SEL fitment. I've seen those go here on M2M for around 180 USD.

So LN model zzf v2 latest batch has fixed X in the dial and fixed hour hands. But why isnt it listed as v2s but just v2?

hulk model are listed as v2s. But there are 2 batches of hulk v2s. One fixed X and another nope.

I think you should ask Jtime this question. They have better contact with ZZF than anyone here.

We members just get our QC pics then our watches and sometimes make "version X"-assumptions based by that...

There is no official v2s (to date) that's listed. Some members noticed some change in the latest pics of v2 and gave it that name (v2s). It could just as well be an QC issue as far as we know.

hulk model are listed as v2s. But there are 2 batches of hulk v2s. One fixed X and another nope.

It’s just a new batch with some minor fixed details not a complete new version.
