Well if they were ten percents kind like you did everything would be cool but they didnt. Thank you so much for this informations i really didnt know. Now i do thanks a lot.
The gmt hand is adjustable, on the gen movement the hour hand can jump forward and backward as well. Not sure i follow what you mean. You can still adjust the GMT hand independently cant you? I recall having 1 GMT model a while back and i could adjust independantly to set whatever GMT time i needed. Otherwise it becomes faux GMT no? Or am i missing something

Oyy more advice needed. Chill out man. You will wind up getting tossed or placed into the brig. Your a noobie, you said some silly stuff, and people responded the same way. Just drop it or things will get worse.

Right right and it can do so independant from the GMT hand. There is definitly a convenience factor to this. But then again, on the gen i believe there is no quick set date right?? I think my Brother in law was telling me that his Gen Explorer II doesnt have that.
In any case i just placed an order for this watch for him, QC looked great. Will try to take a few pics when i finally see it in real life.
The GMT hand is not independently adjustable on the gen - the hour hand is. Most "true" GMT movements are this way, whereas ETA based ones do the independent GMT hand.
Independent GMT hand works like this: one crown position moves gmt hand & date, another moves GMT+HR+MINUTE. Good for tracking a second time zone from home using the GMT hand. Messy when you travel because you have to reset the entire time to the new time zone, then backtrack the GMT hand to your home time.
Independent hour hand works like this: one crown position jumps hour hand back and forth in 1 hour increments, another moves GMT+HR+MINUTE. Good for traveling, because assuming you had GMT + Hour set to home time when you left, upon arrival all you do is jump the hour forward or back to the local time, and it doesn't disturb the minute hand or the GMT hand which remains set to your "home" time zone. Much faster.
A lot of newer movements that aren't even GMT/2 time zone ones do the jump hour now because it's great for traveling (Panerai and Omega are big on this nowadays) because you can quickly swap time zones without disturbing the minute hand and having to go through hack->reset->wait for next minute to catch up. You just jump the hours forward or back and go.

Gunny has a lot of nice vintage leathers and if you ask him to make one to the specs of a tudor deployant he has all the measurements (+you can get clasps on etsy) - I had him make one in blacksteel leather for this as I thought that would look nice but he has others that might be a closer match. There's one called camel that looks like a good match for the OEM leather.
Just emailed Ryan to start my order for this. Might sound daft but I want to try the rep before I go for the gen. psssniper you still got the 1675 with ETA movement I sold you this time last year?
A good number of the TD pics have misaligned looking date wheels. Interested to see some in-hand pics to see how big an issue this is before I pick one up.
Yessir! Still wearin it and lovin it, thanks again!
