They also have a version that have a balance that looks closer to gen, without the extra regulating sticks

Very big news if it's free sprung, this might be a first on a standard rep, (that I've seen anyway).

It would certainly be very impressive, but I'd honestly rather they focus on the painted "ribbing" or whatever you'd call it. I have a friend with a 55 and when you're looking at it on wrist with the brushing vs. the rep's painting it almost looks black

Having improved ribs would definitely be a big visual upgrade on this watch. That said, I feel like it's not that hard to do and something they'd probably improve anyway in a future version.
However, the free sprung balance (if true) would be a quantum leap in reps.

I reckon that the free sprung balance vs regulated balance will result in more accurate timing but would it stutter? The stuttering in BBR early version Rm 055 is very offputting.

The BBR early version was just a regular regulated balance and it was stuttering, so it's not necessarily due to the balance wheel, but just an unstable movement. A badly manufactured movement will cause stuttering regardless of the type of balance wheel. The current ZF does not have that issue.

Hey VenomGT, I know you are a huge fan of RM and bought some insane pieces. Can you give me your honest option of this new ZF RM 55 given you had many other expensive RM pieces what do you have to say about the quality of this new ZF compared to the others. I really respect your advice and opinion. Please let me know how it compares to the others you have owned.

Since you have had your ZF for a few days now how would you rate it, is it great? Could you post some more pictures I like the one you got the black version could you show what the pattern looks like in different lighting, I'm debating which one to get I might go with the white and red lettering but want to see yours

10/10 on the watch
The only bad side I had was that I couldn't find a suitable screwdriver to change the strap.

I got 2 watches QC PICS of the black/red Dail and black/white dial, the pattern is not reflective as genuine but is acceptable for me
