20k build for a vaucher clone? Damn I would think for around 20k you can get original vaucher movement not cloneNope it’s the new cnc case, with newest vaucher clone movement . This is a close to 20k build
I think it's good to compare and contrast to see what improvements can be made on the ZFWhy are we talking about $20k builds in a new ZF clone movement thread
Good point. By the way, is that build you showed with the vaucher movement yours?while it is always safer to use a TD. Be very weary of their over inflated, frankly scam prices. Some TD's are literally committing highway robbery to those that are uneducated. 15-20 k for a CNC build with this ZF movement is laughable. They will tell you it is "refinished" to gen spec, etc etc. All BS.
Buy smart
Profit margins must be like 300%Got quoted 18k for the watch. Haha
If that's true, it's insane, They are spot on. There are significant differences between that watch and the empty case that was posted a few pages back though
I think that empty one is a test fit of existing black ceramic bezel. The grey one is a titanium alloy. The finished watch above could very well be a Gen. Would love to be proven wrong on this coz that looks really good.Indeed
Thank you bro!If the gen strap fits it's a good bet that Vic's straps for the old ZF should fit just fine. If i remember correctly those were gen-spec, and I'll be able to test with my old strap once I get around to ordering the new ZF. Yours looks stellar!
