Superb technical review Chris.

You have given confidence to many of the "Fence Sitters".

It is great to see the 3714 moving in the right direction as far as the case depth is concerned, such a beautifully proportioned design needs to be replicated as closely as possible.

I have a couple of questions about the 3714...(maybe not directly related to this break down)
Is the bezel of the 3714 actually larger in diameter than the case? If so what is the diameter of the bezel?

I wish there was a way for you to do the same cleaning on my watches but you are in the EU....

I have searched for this pic but I don't find one.
I thought it's the same construction as the gen because there is just no better way to bring the second hand to the 6 position.
