After several days of wear I've noticed the power reserve is about 6 hours. In the AMs I've got to reset time 2 of 3 days. Anyone else having this issue? Worn during the day it's very accurate, but after 14 hours of wear I don't expect to reset time upon waking. Anyone else having this issue and or is this common with shaved 9015 movements? Is this a service advised kind of situation?
It is hard to diagnose if there is an issue with your watch from your description. Even when you wear the watch, your wrist could be moving insufficiently to charge it.
The power reserve of the movement is about 40hrs, give or take 2-3hrs. What you can do is to give it 60 winds (or rather, 60 half-winds since nobody can really rotate the crown a full revolution with each turn) and leave the watch alone on the desk. If the power reserve is normal, then there is no issue with the mainspring at least.
To determine if there is an issue with the autowind module, just wind the watch 30 times and then wear it throughout the day. It should not stop the next morning if it has accumulated enough power reserve through your wrist movement. If it stops, the issue is either the autowind module (which includes the rotor bearing assembly) or that you are not moving enough. Remember that simply wearing a watch on the wrist will not automatically that it gains power reserve. The key here is sufficient wrist movement.
