ZF 15400 - First pictures

Blue Color isnt really off, its almost a 1:1 from the J Series its not like the newer Gens (they use a darker blue tone) thats true.. Not sure about black/grey.

my black dial ZF 15400, it is really beautiful.

Not quite true. I own a gen I series blue 15400 and the dial is matte under the sun too.
I think that there are a lot of false information about how the gen should or should not look and 99% of the erroneous information comes either from google or looking at a gen through a shop window or display glass and then repeated throughout the boards like facts.
I can tell you that the finish and color of the blue even in the same series, can differ from batch to batch. I can also tell you that I owned the gen black 15400 and that the black of the rep JF dial is off too in tone and finish. I have not compared the ZF black to gen myself so I shall withhold my comment.
My point is that google and a 5min visual exposure to the gen do not make one an expert on dial colors. You need to own the gen and look at it under different lighting and angles to see what it can look like.
The ZF blue is well done and it’s a very good effort by the factory. It is believable. Forget about “sun-bursts” and whatnot. That is nitpicking by members who’ve mostly never owned the gen. The point is that the rep dial looks believable and gens have variants too.
Remember that some of us are intimately familiar with how the gen color looks in person and on a daily basis. I have seen the ZF blue in person recently and I think it’s definitely good enough for wear.

The above pictures are not from ZF? It's a cheap dhgate rep and the last picture is a gen. Iam not quiet sure why are you are talking about the ZF Version but post a cheap dhgate version.

They are not cheap reps, neither the last one is the only gen.
I’m not an expert and I never said that, but you can see in this video what a blue gen looks like. I don’t know if there are different blue batches, I only know that I never seen a matte blue gen, except legend’s one.

This is the blue 15400 from AP site. In my opinion, it’s a different blue.

What? You posted DHgate reps and the last picture was a gen, also the picture from the AP site is from 2012 (with the old slim logo) it has nothing to do with the new gens or the "J" Series, so i am not sure what are you doing here because it makes no sense to post cheap dhgate reps.
Maybe you got ripped of but the first 2 photos are clearly a 50 dollar dhgate rep. Do you know why i know that? Because i know these Reps, look at the logo its wihtout the white stripe in it also the tapiseries is completely garbage.

Did you see the video posted? Is it a rep too? Do you think I own a time machine to get a 2012 photo from AP site?
I don’t like the ZF blue, I think it’s not spot on, so I got a black one. That’s all. You can buy whatever you want, don’t worry

I don't see any video and the picture is from the AP site and they never update the pictures since then. Are you new to this hobby? I posted a video of the gen and it looks almost 1:1 to the ZF blue. Sorry but you are just pure wrong. And no your current picture isnt a Gen.
Look at the AP picture do you see the long slim AP logo? Ask your self why any new rep hasnt that logo and do some research...
