Agreed, Some TDs order in a number of stock items early on new releases if they anticipate they will be popular, I guess this the case here. And so they are having to sell those first before collecting more fresh stock.

How to tell the differences?

KS Watches thank you for the detailed photos and video! ZZF/Z+F/ZF/whatever F did a great job with this release. Just get a good QC and you get an amazing watch.

Judging from the zf+ pics, it looks Matt and no sunburst. I just got mine which is ZF with sticker and mine has the sunburst effect when light shines on it. There really is a difference in the dials between them

Just trying to figure out what I actually bought now. Told Li I want the Z+F15400 and I get QC pics with Z+ on it. As long as that’s Z+F I’m fine.

Yeah, Z+F, ZF, Z+ are same maker. same as ZF

only Z maker is different, they only makes RMs, no AP

I have the ZF blue from Ryan and it looks pretty much like @tigerdragon’s watch, same tint of blue and same level of sunburst, subtle under indirect lighting but more more obvious under a point source light as he has shown in his videos, and slightly richer in natural vs. LED light.

We even have the same finishing issues in the bracelet, where the last bracelet plot that integrates with the lugs has a jagged quality on the top part of the lapped surface, which could easily be taken off with a whetstone or lapping machine. The watch is definitely finished more nicely than the bracelet. The polished edges on the watch are crisp and flat, whereas the polished edges on the bracelet are rounded. I’m guessing this is not the case on the gen. This could be fixed easily with a good lapping machine and would make the bracelet much nicer.

Overall I am happy with the watch. Handstack is not gen but leagues better than JF. Bezel screws are equally recessed around the perimeter and look great. The thickness is variable depending on how it’s measured. Thickness is 9.47 to 9.95 depending on bezel to metal caseback vs. glass to glass.

Do you agree that its actually hard to make videos/photos from the dial? Because the dynamic is so hard to capture.

Yes absolutely, seems to be richer if the light source is broad spectrum like incandescent or natural light, not easy to capture...

I think taking a pic of most blue dials is a “ trial” ,,,,,dials can look a Matt blue,,vibrant,deep blue,,,black,,,,etc,etc,,
Must be one of the hardest coloured dials to photograph,,,thanks to those who posted pics as it’s not an easy task in my experience,,,,,

Its impossible to choose between those dial !!!
Its the first time I can’t make up my mind on witch color of dial I will have.
I first was sure to go for blue, but i have order a DD40 with ice blue dial so I was thinking maybe the black will be a better choice, I don’t have watch with black dial, but than again the pics of grey dial look realy nice.
Now I try to compare the all 3 and I am stuck like an idiot.
Ohhh my god life is so unfair
