I have not had a 28XX Yachtmaster rep in my hands so I can't confirm that the crown position differs, but logic suggests that it must. Certainly the keyless function will still be backwards compared to the gen, which is still a problem for me. In fact the backwards keyless is the reason I don't wear the BP DJ II I bought a few months ago. Not buying any more Rolex reps with 28XX movements when there is a perfectly good correctly functioning movement.

Can someone shine a light on my ignorance and explain to me what is the keyless function in this rep?

Keyless works is the watch making term for Crown operated functions It is derived from a time when watch functions had to be accessed by a key. Patek invented the "Keyless works " which allowed the adjusting of time/date etc to be performed via the crown , without the use of a key
In relation to this thread On the 28xx series of movements a clockwise turn of the crown results in an anti clockwise adjustment of the hands This is the opposite of what happens in the gen movement The AS3135 however functions the same way as the gen

My YM noob grey dial doesn't have have LEC at 6. Can anyone confirm this?

It will have Its just very hard to see , which is correct Traditionally the LEC has been too easy to see on reps You will only see it with a loupe which is held to focus midway through the crystal not on the surface

I received some qc pics but think the SEL is not nice. Can I show them here to ask for your opinion? Maybe I am too picky???

Let's see it. I did the same with mine. Showed qc pics, was not happy, received in the end a better SEL

Fantastic. Thank you! However, that seems to be a minor flaw considering it is not usually noticeable unless someone is handling the watch.

True But I wear them for me . On the basis that virtually no one notices the watch you are wearing , Rep or gen, Doesnt feel right turning things backwards
