I was merely stating what i know to be true based on personal experince, what has bee told to me by AP personnel and confirmed by long- time watch professionals. But you know what, if you feel that you have a monopoly in knowledge in all things AP so be it.
Lol, nobody can have monopoly over any knowledge including knowledge about a watch brand.
And what is more important than second tier information is first hand knowledge. Why learn from anyone else or off pics off the net when you can have the actual watch right in front of your eyes, to look and touch?
There used to be this dude around who tried to argue that the gen ROO rotor is 22k rose gold, by showing a pic off the net like you did. I have the watch right in front of me and can physically SEE that it’s yellow gold. Your logic of argument is very much like that, arguing based on hearsay, google pics and conspiracy theories about a brand I’ve been collecting for years and know a little about.
Yes I’m definitely not the only gen watch collector in the world. But between you and I, there’s multiple gen APs and only 1 gen AP owner. Our sources of information and depth of knowledge are different. I ask that you do not repeat and spread false information here, especially about sunken screws. My source of information isn’t google or “AP personnel” or “long time watch professionals”. It’s simply my vision at 30cm.
Most modern APs either do not have sunken screws or have imperceptibly sunken ones which look more flushed than sunken. I do not need to scour the internet to prove my point. Neither do sunken screws have anything to do with service. Also there is no AP secret code of any kind. That last bit was hilarious though.
You’ve gotten the “I’m the One Above All AP guru”part backward:
Own a gen modern AP, spend time to study it and THEN, act like an expert here and your pontification may have some merit. Not the other way round. :qtip2:
