Still missing the point uh, this strawman is absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand if my english is trash or people genuinely can't read. I wouldn't be surprised with either.
It's not a matter of easiness, or difficulty, it's a matter of cost, time of development and all the other things that I already said and i won't repeat.
Also, you can't really compare an 80$ DW to a 350$ crystal, the crystal is more than four times the price of the DW, and it will basically double the price of the watch on its own.
I too have some modded Daytonas, but not everyone will spend 2k for a rep in order to put in all genuine pieces. The main tell you see even from far away is the crystal, why not focusing on that? No one would spot a wonky / misaligned rehaut, you'll need a loupe for that, and even then, Rolex makes them misaligned as well, so it's not a tell.
You shouldn't imply that everyone will franken their reps once they get it, we are comparing ootb reps here, and every part of them is important, especially the crystal, since is one of the most noticeable tells.
If you only care about the case and rehaut then might as well just compare those, the rest is useless since you'll change it with genuine, right?
