Some very expensive lessons for some of us...Hopefully this can serve as future protection for any newer members that are lucky enough to find this community.

YES! Several people did. As you can't see an update on this thread this leads to there was no one answering / phone turned off unfortunately..

You are right, I didn't see an update about this on the thread so I thought I'd ask. Glad to hear someone has tried to contact him.

Anyone know him well enough to know how to contact his spouse? She may not know we are trying to reach out to him, but would be willing to provide an update.

I don't mean to be rude (but I will be)... I don't know about you but I've never asked for my friends or business associates for their spouses personal contact information for anything. Seems like odd information to have. Maybe I'm alone in this.

You should probably catch up on a few pages in the thread. All your questions have been asked more then once (minus the weird spouse one). Someone even contacted his neighbor. So outside of sending his dog a letter, I'm sure everyone close to him has been contacted. It's a waiting game now. I wouldn't expect much. He was supposably dealing with health, family, and money issues.

K, I think you are confusing Rudy with Thinkbach.
This is a hell of a way to start the new year.

Yeah, I'm thinking now you are right. Wonder if Rudy can come up with a better story than that.

It seems like every day now I'm reading about someone getting scammed or cheated. What the hell is going on?
You need to remember we have over 100k members and we are proactive in policing sales so when they do go tits up you tend to hear about it unlike most places on the web. Given the 1000s of sales a month one or two bad eggs is statistically below average.

Didn't Rudy have some sort of melt down and run off with a stripper or hooker or something a few months ago? I hope I'm confusing him with someone else but I sure seem to remember something to that effect.
Mate Rudy isn't well enough to run off with anyone let alone a stripper. I have a bad feeling this will end in tragic news . . .

Huh? Yes I'd say you are alone at least when it comes to friends. You really don't have the phone number of any of your mate's other half's?

Mates I'm selling/buying watches from? No. Guess I should start so I'm not alone.

Ah, a lot of these guys are closer than that mate. People who have been here for years have established real friendships.
Besides that's not what you said above, you said mates without qualification.

I did a deal with Rudy earlier this year and he seemed like a really nice guy that was having a hard time. Everyone gets dealt a bad hand from time to time but there's s lot of bad experiences here raising so many red flags but hope there is a positive outcome for all concerned. Certainly a sad thing to see on this great forum.

I'll tighten up my responses going forward. Maybe that's why I don't have more numbers in my Rolodex.

Yes, I probably do need to read some more as I have missed some critical pieces of information.

But, bro! Sending his dog a letter does not sound weird to you?

No, you are right, I don't know you well (lol)

Since Thinkbachs name was brought up... I only thought it would be appropriate to post one of his applicable graphics. Lol

Fantastic !!!!!! So true lately. I have been slowly turned off by the amount of scumbags and thieves around here. I love RWI and the majority is great but the minority is slowly turning me off and I haven't even been here that long

The scumbags are a very small minority. Unfortunately, folks rarely post if things go right. We usually only hear about the bad stuff.

Also, there is nothing solid to indicate Rudy40 fits that classification. Sadly, something may have happened to him.

This is really starting to suck.
I think TB is right. This isn't going to have a happy ending.

Unfortunately some get too deep into the money scheme of forum life, sadly things go haywire every now and then and people get burned. Hoping for the best here for all involved.

Secret to longevity on the forum: Make friends but hold your cards close to the chest and at all cost avoid strippers.
