This is sad news all the way around.....I had one watch go to Rudy last year and everything went as well as expected. Seemed like a really nice guy. I'm sorry to hear about this. My prayers go out to him, hope he gets well soon. Also hope everybody gets sorted out in a positive way with their respective transactions. There has been a lot of crap going on with scammers and the like lately it's a real shame. It's one of the reasons I have not been real active on m2m in the past 6-9 months or so. But this forum is GREAT, it's good to see everybody come together when stuff happens, everybody tell their story pertaining to persons who may be going off the rails. My take from this other then not to do back door deals.....is maybe we need to be a little more proactive in letting the forum/members know when transctions get a little sketchy or members start showing unusual behavior. I've been Mia for a long time now but after a few emails last night I had to see what was going on.
Sorry to bring bad news but the lv photos are of the watch I built for J____ on behalf of Rudy.
I've tried to reach Rudy but he has stopped responding to me. I hope things work out for everyone but it doesn't look good.

The Franken lv that is posted back in the thread was built for J____ the pictures on the white rag are photos I took and sent to Rudy in the process of the build. The pictures of the head only that are not on white were before I did the work if you look closely the second hand is bent

Well it wasn't Rudy's. Rudy does not nor has he ever (AFIK) built watches which is why I can not understand for a minute why people send stuff to him to be built, he simply acted as an agent for others.

This is just getting worst by the hour. @J___ I will donate a TC case with back and gen tube to you to get your build going if this doesn't pan out. I just donated a dial that I was told was a real LV and it ended up being a TC. I wish I would have kept it. I will even donate a movement a TC 2824 movement ring. The movement will need to be cleaned and serviced.
I will donate the following for your build.
TC case
Copy bracelet.
I have to see which movements I have but I have a lot of gen and asian 2824 parts and movements. I will get a full movement together for you.
TC movement holder.
You will still need a builder and hands, dial, crystal, bezel assembly and insert. But I think together as a forum we can get you fixed up.

I have a Gen Crown in the box I will donate. I have other TC parts, but none that are Gen. Rolex besides the crown. The LV Gen dial will not be worth the money IMO. I have a brand new TC Xtal as well. Let me see what else I can dig up...
I spoke to TagFan tonight and it seems Rudy really is in very bad health. I for one will pray for him even though I'm not a traditional religious person, I believe what I believe and don't need a book or another man to tell me what's right. That being said I gave Tagfan an idea which may be impossible but it might help Rudy and members who have projects outstanding. I think we should all take a deep breath and thank whoever we are not in Rudys shoes.

I guess we think a like because this is basically what I proposed to Tagfan. If Rudy is really in bad shape maybe Tagfan/or someone else could get all the outstanding projects and we as a forum could come together to help Rudy and People who are out projects get some kind of closure. I don't propose we make up for $ loses but perhaps if we could get everyones project back to its original owner no matter the state of completion we could lift the burden of not knowing and ease some lose and also ease any stress on Rudy. I don't know its just an idea and certainly open to modification. I really don't think Tagfan has the time to finish Rudys projects but maybe he could help as a go between.
