THANK YOU GUYS ALL SO MUCH!!!! This is turning out to be incredibly epic...I don't know what to say to all of this amazing generosity. It's barely January and my year has been made thanks to the very people on this forum.
occb2 JMB PM'd me and Tagfan (in what Tagfan and I are assuming is a group chat since we all see each other's messages haha) and he said that Tagfan would be shipping the mid case but it's whatever's easier for the lot of you amazing guys...I'm in no position to ask that of any of you.

If the cancer thing is a lie then it is just messed up. People that know him personally should know if it is fake or not. I just lost my Aunt in December to cancer. It took her in a year. It was liver cancer. But she went from looking normal to a walking corpse. Cancer is a bitch.

It seems that he has been up to a lot of wrong behavior. Not paying people who help you is just wrong. To sell watches to people is just wrong.

I just realized another person who just died to cancer. He was a guy I knew from the Porsche community. He use to own PAR Porsche here in NY. He did something similar but benefited a lot more money. He took peoples cars in on consignment and then he would give them a portion of the money after the sell and would make an excuse like Rudy did, his wife or something else. Once they took that payment, it would no longer be a criminal matter it was a civil matter. He did that for about 7 months. He also owned the Label "Recaro" here in the US. So he hand seats and steering wheels and a lot of stuff. Just think about it. Recaro is a huge company. He had a wear-house full of stuff. He just walked away. Took everything and sold it on eBay. He had like 5 account and would sell them all over the place. He gave his wife all the money and went declared bankruptcy for the Cooperation of PAR Porsche. He just died of cancer. So God does't like ugly.

I just went to a wake last night & funeral today for a woman who died of cancer. Beautiful, giving woman though (unlike above apparently) - but nonetheless a cancer victim....

Holy cow I'm exhausted!!!

9 pages and what an outcome. Hope Rudy is ok, but it's obvious he pulled some crap the past week.

It's so awesome to see the community come together and make this right, very proud to be a supporter right now.

Again, I'm glad most of the members here are such great people! Happy that those who are out of pocket on this will get a nice build after all!!!!

When I started reading all of this days ago I got a little worried. I had just bought my first watch m2m. I thought to myself what have I got myself into. Since then I have had some very good conversations with a few members on this forum. And Spent more money than I should have. Reading how everyone here came together made me understand what a great community this is. You guys are awesome, thank you for letting me be a part of this family. Now I just have to get occb2 to bring his 911 to Bowling Green, KY and show some of these Corvettes how it's done on the new road course we just built.

Throw some street tires on the 400 and drop the forks thru the triple clamps an couple of inches and blow them away on a dirt bike. That 'll learn 'em!

Supermoto the CRF450 and that would be fun. I might be able to put in some heaters on my old R1. It's been a while since I have been on 2 wheels on a road course. The new R1M is a beast I would like to give a whirl.

I would love too. The new Vettes are not a car that I would try to take. A lot more HP. I keep my car stock so it's not a 1000 hp 911...LOL. Once we have turns and curves, I will eat them up! Do it all the time up here in NY.

I had a 930 back in the 90s, it ate 'vetts for breakfast. Mind you the average 'vette driver is hardly Fangio either.

trailboss99, I have a 77 930. I miss that car. I got it around 7 years ago, put tons of money in it rebuilding every thing and about 5 years ago sold it to this guy in Denmark. The car has 4X's its value that I sold it for and now a 75 euro 76 US and 77 US 930's are over $100,000 dollars.

That was a car I should have kept. But I kept getting a better and better 911 and stopped at my 02 twin turbo. Have it for about 2 years and it is amazing. Did the suspension and a full tune up with coil packs. My buddy wants to put a flash and faster turbo's and put it to about 700 HP. I will kill myself. With 420 HP it goes from 60-100 in about 3 seconds. It is just nuts. Got the snows on it finally. I don't plan on driving it in the snow but summer tires get hard as hell below 40 degrees.

My two passions. Porsche's and Rolex's. I tell my wife it could be worst. I could be boozing and womanizing!!!! LOL. She agrees and lets me play with my toys.

occb2 super jealous mate.. Just read that thread.. And I'm over here building STIs.. I'll sell them all off, and get one [emoji57][emoji41] as I've been lusting after one since my dad has had older Carreras growing up. Between that and his 65 cobra, I'd love one. But this isn't the place to discuss this.. Just wanted to say that's awesome [emoji6]

A hundred K? :thud:
I think I sold mine for around 25 or 30 k back in '93. Can't remember exactly what it owed me as I swapped a '75 308GTB that was fast becoming a money pit for it. Mine was a '76 and yes, a hell of a lot of fun but pure animal.

I miss that! The go-cart on steroids feel. The boot of the big turbo that would put me in the back seat. I don't miss that lag. I would put my foot on the gas and I could count to 2 and then the pull was just amazing. The 2002 is a great and faster car but it is all wheel drive with traction control and no lag. Fast as hell, I think the 0-60 is like 4 seconds. The the 60 to 100 is like another 4 seconds. It is a crazy car. The 930 was a lot funner to drive.

Thank FiloViridae. I miss that car. I had that and a 964 911C4 that I picked up and was driving that a lot more than the 930. The 964/911 was an amazing car. I should have kept that too. Those are up to around $40,000 for the car that I had. It was a black on black C4. But I wanted a water cooled like a dumb ass. I sold that one and got a 2002 996/911 C4 convertible. I loved that car for a few years then I passed the twin turbo on my way to my friends house. They took my car for a test drive and offered me a lot for it as a trade in. I traded it and brought the Turbo 996/911. The first day it scared the crap out of me. I like upstate NY in Orange county. So I drive storm king mountain right by West Point. Then have to go down Bear mountain. We call it the goats trail. Well the C4 handled the turns like a champ. When I got the turbo it was all over the road. Come to find out I needed a new suspension. It was shot. Control arms front and rear and coils and springs and struts and shocks. Now it is an amazing drive. We did a drive last year up where NY NJ and PA all meet. The drive is on a BMW commercial. Great drive. We took this picture.

That was a great run. This year it was canceled due to weather. Can't wait for another one.
