Please do not forget to include [MENTION=46745]Esavy[/MENTION] as i can only imagine the gut wrenching feeling he has being out $600 paired with the disappointment of being mislead.

For the time being don't worry about my lack of watch or finances. I will file a paypal claim today and if all goes well I should see my $750 in 11 days

So question... If many of you knew Rudy wasn't a modder why didn't anyone speak up sooner? If he was just an "agent" between people then his con has been a long time in the making.

So what, he has a few K in posts (mainly sales bumps) does that allow such double standard treatment? I'm actually not just disappointed in him but anyone who said nothing. [emoji848]


So it's cool to see people step in now to help but this was easily avoidable.

This thread (well the last few pages or so) is exactly why i will never leave this place. It bankrupts me, it kills all my spare time (not to mention work time ...cough cough) and i am always penniless! But i wouldn't have it any other way!

I will also add my huge admiration for all those offering to help. I can't offer any parts unfortunately.
I don't think I have ever come across such a generous community.
It sickens me that some bad apples can try to scam members for just a few dollars and then kill their membership here ( not referencing Rudy here, a general rant about the other dishonest sellers and buyers on other threads)

We can ship them parts with note saying for J_ and then post back on here that parts have been sent. Mods what do you think. That way J_ doesn't have to wait for all parts and he won't be out anymore cash for postage.

I'd love it if misiekped would do one of the builds. He's also located near occb2

But we still need a watch for Esavy. I've volunteered some parts, but there's much more needed to get a watch together. Surely we can soften the blow for him as well.

Is it possible that this was the build that was meant for you? Had you seen this thread Dec 18? He tried to sell me this one backdoor too. At least the buyer here ended up with an actual watch

UPDATE: so I'm in the process of making my paypal dispute against Rudy. I've never done this before. As soon as I clicked "dispute" paypal notified me that Rudy is unable to respond and the dispute will automatically become a claim.

I think this means Rudy has closed his paypal account. I dint expect we are ever going to hear from him

Did you pay with PP gift? If you have approval to do so, it'd probably be best if you can exhaust the PayPal dispute option first. I know a few members have volunteered some parts to build a watch to soften the blow. But as a matter of due diligence, I think enough time has elapsed for you to exhaust a refund from PayPal (provided you are clear to do so from the mods).

We should wrap this up so we can get back to our normal threads. This thread is not great press..
