Hm, I definitely have at least one ordered without that setup that is well under $100, so we'll have to see if it matches. I actually selected it because it was the only one I could find with the right color date text/background and right sundials.

I guess you can negotiate a price via email, and then ask her to list the watch on Aliexpress. This way you get your Buyer Protection.

Picked up this IWC on AE for $69. Ive asked the seller for a $10 discount since the back looks cheap. The gold logo looks almost like a sticker. In daylight the watch face looks white with blue numbers, indoors the watch face looks more of a grey pearl look to it. I also plan to swap out the strap.

I think Im done buying watches on AE or DH. I can tell the difference between a $70 rep and a $350 rep and it somewhat bothers me. Dont get me wrong... For $70 Im not complaining. A *NICE* strap will make the watch look a lot nicer IMO.

I've been done as well. I bought an explorer II, just because I've became close with a seller and it was a favor. But, that's my last one. I'd rather have nice ones, then cheap ones. Don't get me wrong, I love my seamaster my seller went on a hunt for.. She sent me many pictures while in the market via whatsapp. I told her one was okay, and she said she noticed a flaw the pictures didn't pick up. So, off she went until I got this nice piece. During shipment, the package got destroyed. I mean, the wood box, came smashed. The bezel got scratched and I replaced it with a blue one.. She no longer looks for watches, and that's not her business. But since I buy a lot of jewelry, I thought I'd ask about watches. So, this explorer is my last watch.. I have to many as it is.. Haha

I think we are all going through the same phase... I got 2 off of Ali and am actually very happy with them but it could have been luck. And I can see how things can devolve quickly. ( had to fight for a new bracelet when I could not remove any links, then seller sends me a new bracelet but it is not correct. It has center polished links as apposed to brushed. At this point, especially with the language issues- its just not worth it).
That being said, it will be likely for me at some point to make another impulse buy on Ali.

ah this is one of the ones with the wrong subdials and date text color/background. looks like a nice watch though.

So with a nice strap would this be a *NICE* watch setup? Looks pretty good to me. Are you going to get a brown strap?

I wouldn't stress too much over the bracelet. It is very easy to make the polished center links match the brushing - people do it all the time to the Invicta 8926 bracelet.

The navitimer looks like it has accurate dials, but most of the black dial navitimers I see have a black date with white text, not as this is shown.

The Yachtmaster looks so nice in the pics (especially gen pics!). It was like my 4th ever rep watch. Cant remember were I got it... iOffer I think. The quality was so bad compared to my expensive TD watches I had to sell it.

The IWC looks nice!!
