I just looked back at a quartz version I bought like 3 years ago, same cut-off, didn't bother me then so I doubt it would bother me now! If you are talking about tells, the biggest one would be the fact its quartz.

I would like to have one of those iwc quartz but the seller has mixed feedbacks...it seems not 100% reliable.

I mean it looks fine to me, I am not sure I would ever buy a rep of a watch that I can buy the gen of for so cheap. I doubt it matters if the watch matches the gen anyway since I have never heard of the brand.

i bough 2 DW watches for holidays for a very small price (6.4eur for 2, shipping included ! )
I took a look at GEN (priced from 110eur to 180eur !) and i can say REPs are really nice and worth the money !

(no link as seller/store is now closed....)

It always seems to me that the aliexpress market was for people who haven't discovered this forum yet because I remember seeing a Noob LMPO being listed for 400$ on aliexpress when you c purchase it for 318$ from any of the TDs

Thats not 100% fair.
Uncle Ali wants something, but there is some kind of garanty that you receive your item, free delivery, and one pay s by creditcard, so no costs for Western Union...

I totally understand that. And I didn't want to offend anyone for not being wealthy.

But guys, really, if money matters a lot, then better buy a gen Swatch or Timex that you can rely on for many years instead of a rep without warranty.

If one is finacially weak, he should not play around with fake watches but better use his money for necessary stuff.

I think you should be able to afford the quality risk that comes along with replicated goods of any kind. No matter if that is called IWC, Vuitton, Festina or Lacoste - as long as it is not gen it won't have gen quality and warranty.

And if you really need your money for important things, just don't buy fake stuff but solid goods of decent quality.

Watches show time. That is their main function. If someone faces financial problems, he better focus on the function and not on a faked brand.

Luxury goods and fake goods share one particular feature in my opinion: Both should only be bought with play money but never with money that you need to make a life.

Having that said, I state that Reps are Luxury in their very own way.
