One of my 2 AW watches. I grabbed this even with the seller sending me pics b4 shipment for approval. Date wheel & dials are wrong. It is fast by 1 to 2 min a day with the sec hand occasionally jumping. Date changes at 12 with the day around 2 am if i remember right. Purchased for $108 shipped . FOr things like this I would use AE all day.

Just took a risk and placed an order for a Explorer II Black Dial 216570 for USD166.50. Seller claims that the photos shown in the listing are the real deal and quality looks pretty good IMHO, even if it eventually comes with a 21j movement.

Will post up some pics and comparison with my Gen once I receive the watch.

I bought a pair of Ray Bans from Aliexpress for fun. $25 shipped, took one week to arrive, and they are absolutely identical to genuines. The detail for the money is unbelievable, right down to the lens markings, box, case, and papers.

I've also bought several guitars from there as well, made to my requests at no additional charge. They all needed a bit of setup work, but the bang for the buck was again incredible.

I bought two RB's from two different sellers for maybe $8 a piece. Both claimed to be polarized, and one of two were. (Neither link still works, sorry.)

I'd love to know if there's any difference between the $8 pairs and the $25 pairs. I've been too afraid to try the expensive ones since they all use the same pics.

$40 shipped to US. Not something I wore more than 2x just to get some use out of it. Doesnt like to keep power to long and as u see it now has a exhibition case back since the tinted glass came unglued after the 2nd time i wore it. Im not sure what the movement is or as i call it the Inertia clone for its belief that its keeping time on a 24 minute day

To find sunglasses, I search for "men's designer sunglasses" then set the price to at least $20 to filter out the junk. Then you'll find the trap doors like "rb" or "pr" for RayBan or Prada or whatever you need.

Ok my 3rd Aliexpress watch which came in 1 yr used MTM (Ploprof V1.5) is equal to the $40 Tag that refuses to keep time. What a bummer because i had high hopes for this Ploppy. Back to my 4 watch rotation .



Edit: Bit harsh and premature. Watch has its issues but ill just have em fixed

^^ Yikes... It may not be a bad pickup for $38 if it runs (even for a while), but it doesn't look anything like its genuine counterpart... It seems that one is intended to be a DSSD, although they forgot the "DEEPSEA" on the dial and the metal bezel insert w/ the fuzzy fonts doesn't even pretend to emulate the crisp, recessed ceramic of the gen... I can't imagine that anyone who's even seen a picture of a Rolex would think that is one...

Criticism of the watch, not the purchaser - as we are all in this thread to learn what is, and what isn't, available on AE. Thanks for posting the pics.
