No shame here. Some of the behaviour on here in terms of wild accusations as to motive and intent is shameful. Especially against someone who in the past has produced great work, provided tutorials, and is one of the best watchsmiths in terms of quality. I’m always going to fight against bullies and keyboard warriors.

The basic principle of this kind of stuff is getting a refund when you asked for it when goods and services haven't been delivered. If that can't be achieved then everything else is useless....

If you are willing to be stomped on because he makes good work that's your perogrative but maybe not for others

Additionally past work is no indication of future or current sales. His previous upstanding reputation and contribuitions is why he got such a long rope before this brigging....

these are all in past tense, he has not provided shit for the community in a long time and his actions have tarnished his achievements. he's been too busy taking money to keep your career as his advocate afloat.

you don't have to agree but you're delirious, its impossible everyone here is wrong and you're right, take a break

I might be biased and from North Korea, but I gotta agree.

There has been a lot of back and forth but this has been rather restrained vs a usual brigging.

Pressure has been exerted, not abuse.

Seriously, a quick glance of other briggings, the surface wasn't even scratched (and no buttholes were kissed.)

It's very encouraging to hear multiple people are having their time pieces miraculously completed and shipped. If only this would have been happening all along.
Such a 'coincidence' eh. I wonder what series of events could have perhaps caused this miraculous change in attitude towards paying customers :unsure:

You take someones money / goods, do the damn job, or give them back.

Excuses are worthless, actions matter, our members matter, so until all work is completed, and our members are made whole, he deserves no deflection.

Just my 2c, maybe it's righteous indignation, what do I know.

I get the massive wait time for jobs. It’s a first world problem. But it’s only a real world problem when these conditions happen:

1) work promised never gets produced
2) work promised takes longer than wait times
3) work is delivered sub par
4) refunds are promptly issued
5) there are no updates/comms
6) you take on more and more work without queue control
7) you ignore your existing base and market for even more clients to work you clearly care about more

All of these aside from points 1,3, and 4 he’s guilty of. More frustratingly, all are easily avoidable. Have some self control, customer service standards, and respect for your base man.

Otherwise it isn’t @mclarendude you run into. But it’s prison-mclarendude will come and he’s bringing the dementors!
