I just got my VSF 126600 today and I removed the cyclops with heat, worked out fine
There is just a little halo where the cyclops used to be, I think because there is no AR treatment where it used to be

The AR should have been on the cyclops itself, under it.

If you have any haze on the crystal still polish it off.

I love the lack of cyclops on most but this dial has the date far too inward and it messes with the symmetry. But love seeing others make it their one.

I compared the date position with the 116600 and the date position on the dial looks exactly the same
Of course on the 16600 the date is more on the outside

Hi guays, i just got a VSF126600 and already own the ARfv4. The bezel click on the VSF is very loose compared to the ARF, and the bracelet feels flimsier than the ARF. I'd like to do a dial/movement swap. Does anyone know if the VS3235 fits the ARF case without any moding?

ah yes you're right. it still fits. Clarkent has one for sale with an ARF case and VS movement.

Wow, great thread. Basically what I learnt is "all of them have flaws" lmao. Leaning towards the VSF, the "glossy" dial doesn't bother me, the huge date mag is barely a tell, ok, SELs are not comparable

I have a VSF 43 and handled a gen, I don't see a big difference in the dial. The VSF dial is not glossy at all! Maybe there was batch at some point that was glosy, I really don't know. But it us as matte as it needs to be imo.

None of the 43mm reps have ever had a glossy dial.

ARF dials were never as matt as they should have been. Noob dial was better.

The VSF was the best, and AFAIK is now the only version of this one at the moment.

ARF no longer exists - so anything that says it is is probably a crap shoot. RAF is not ARF.
