Whats the differenz between ARF3 and ARF V4?
My Vendor says just V3 in thr market...
Or whom you can recommend (PM)
Really tough to figure out what’s going on with the “ARF with 3235”

When I have a moment I’ll take the time to study the hell out of the pix, and I’ll see what I can find.

I’m going to send you a PM
My new VSF definitely has the 3235, winds like butter and runs for 3 days.
But I can’t get over the wrong magnification and sels, so my friends buying it. He’s not as picky as me and just loves the watch. I’ve had 2 ARFs in other forms and both movements broke within a month. But if they really come with the 3235 movement I’d buy one in a heartbeat. As the strap and sels are spot on 🤷‍♂️

ARF V4 has better crystal, dial, crown. It’s a better watch as a whole than the V3.
What is the current movement in the ARF like Mike, if it’s not a timebomb like my other 2 I’m more than happy to put up with a gritty feel. But if anyone in the know looks at the VSF, they instantly know it’s a clone due to the over magnification 🙇‍♂️

Agreed, the mag is a joke, but I’ve been pressing past that, wearing the VSF as much as I can. It’s weird I have to force myself to wear it.

As for the 2824 in the ARF, I’d argue it’s better then the 3235 by a mile for many reasons, but the long and short of it is that I think the 3235 is just more fun. It’s like a Camry vs a lambo: both drive sure, but one you dream about and the other you never even think about. (The 2824 is the Camry if it’s not evident)

Yes, i ask first, so thank you, then i can provide to high res pic.
For the crystal, I know, I was very lucky.

Need to do pearl pics.
About insert, i not remember the arf is so light deep engraved and not so platinum. It seems like last ‘generation’ insert.
So if the arf case is confirmed and has the 3235 movement ( cannot says if vr or sa), i think to keep it, not only bracelet. Right?
Somenone knows which insert is more like gen? The deep of engraved is so different.

My main concern would be reliability, as I have 2 ARFs sat in the drawer with broken movements.
As long as the 2824 movement is reliable, I can always swap it for a 3235 at a later stage, if it’s possible 🤷‍♂️

I think I’ll wait until ARF put a 3235 in theirs, I don’t want another perfect watch with a broken movement sat in the drawer 🙇🤦‍♂️🤷

Just received my VSF SD43 today after giving in and ordering one. Initial impressions (as someone who’s never worn an SD before):
  • The size is surprisingly comfortable and wearable for a 6.75” wrist
  • The dial in mine came slightly misaligned- should be fixable easily by opening it up and adjusting the rotation. Might get tricky if it affects the stem alignment though so.. it’s so minute that I might just leave it for now since it’s not noticeable
  • I’ve got the same date mag as the others note in the thread. I wonder if shaving a tiny bit of height off the gasket could solve this problem?
  • I don’t seem to have the lug / bracelet gap that others noted? My SELs are tight and flush to the lugs
  • Clasp code is 7QE - it looks and feels like my 1LD clasp that I’d sourced from a CF124060
  • Crown winds super smooth! Clutch is also smooth and it screws down very confidently - no gritty feeling on the threads
  • Bezel click has a nice solid feel to it, very little back play, but a little bit of vertical movement if I press down, which isn’t a big deal
That’s about it - it’s a gorgeous piece (to me) and if I get brave enough I might try shaving the crystal gasket height to improve the date mag.

Here are a couple of pics for good measure:

Am I the only one who thinks the Gen Mag should be like this easy to see. The bigger mag makes it so easy to see. The Gen for me is small. Maybe because older I get the vision isnt up to par.

Haha, I agree! My vision also isn’t what it used to be and it’s a lot more comfortable at this mag level than the gen mag level

Awesome score, and welcomed feedback!

The lugs show light through them in your pix (first pic I can see either wood or the springbar in between the bottom right of the SEL and lug lol, and I didn’t zoom yet) and the dial being off eventually will bug ya, but the adjustment is so easy, you’ll be surprised.

Tip: loosen the back, then the movement screws only about 1/2-3/4 rotation, leave crown screwed down, flip over, unscrew crown while looking at the dial and I bet you the dial lines up right (the stem will guide it, leave the stem in the winding position, tighten movement screws, caseback, and crown.

In that order, it’s a breeze.

Also, I agree with the backlash on the bezel, it’s something the ARF lacks, and makes me want to put my ARF bezel on the VSF. I wonder if this is doable… the insert on the VSF is superior, for sure, but the ARF bezel feels perfect.

And I may put my lugs in a vice and see if I can squeeze them together the .00001” it needs to snug up so no light passes.

Maybe @KJ2020 has a suggestion for this, I know he’s brilliant with this shit.

This is gonna sounds nuts, but the gen mag with clarity of gen crystal and clean gen DW is easier for me to read then my VSF with huge mag and VSF DW. It’s true, but odd.
