Listen if you want to buy 316l steel watches, feel free. I, for one, would only buy 904l rep steel when it comes to Rolex bcz i know it makes a difference and I have built over 15 rolex frankens and have gens to compare it to.

Did you read the thread that I shared the link to??? People like you were swearing that their 904L watches was whiter and that they could tell the difference. But guess what, they were actually made of 316L!

There is no original Rolex with a thick font that has no space between the letter L and the letter Y.
In the word SFFICIALL Y ..
In fact, from the end of 2018, every Rolex that came out was with a thick font and a space between the letters

If you can't see the difference between the two are saying that brushing is the only reason why there is a difference, then I really cant help you..
As for the multi account, idk i had issues with my taptalk and might have signed up for a second account through it so idk how to address that.

I can tell the difference and yes it's due to brushing. For the 3rd time read the thread that I shared and that shows how people thought their rep was 904L because they looked whiter and were advertised as 904L, only to discover now that they were 316L

Dude they took the manufacturers word for it... get it through your head that not everyone has a gen part on hand to compare their rep parts and see if the reps are off!!

Some were 904 case and 316 bracelet, some were 904 bracelet and 316 clasp, a very popular one was entirely 316... and those who can definitely see the difference never noticed.

I'm repeating things because you keep on saying the same thing without acknowledging the thread that I shared which is proof that what you are saying is bullshit.
First of all you're not the only one with a gen to compare to. I for one have a couple of gen Rolex too
Secondly, the question is not whether there is a difference between rep and gen but whether you can tell the difference between 316 and 904. Folks did not imagine a difference because they believed the factories. Folks saw a real difference because there was one, except that it could not have been due to the metal because - that's the twist - it was 316L on both sides. So if it's not the metal then what can it be? It's the brushing
This is basic logic and if you don't understand that there's just no way we can have a conversation. In any case you can buy whatever you want that's up to you. But don't go around spreading misinformation to confuse others even more
I can't feel the difference between 904 n 316 visually or feeling wise. It depends on the factory quality n finishing.
Here's Rolex genuine 904L with 316L. I can't see or feel any difference, do any of you guys here can see?
Reps have come a long way to the real deal and we should enjoy this hobby... cheers!!!
