I have a gen smooth bezel and jubilee and would like to get one for comparison. The smooth bezel is unobtainable for now, how is the fluted bezel? Is there too much difference compared to the gen and in what?

Vsf is stainless steel, clean is copper alloy plated with something (looks better than vsf, but the durability of the plating is questionable).
Gen is white gold.
You have two more options:
1. WG plating
Or
2. Xing fluted bezel (ss with 2x plating)

The difference in materials I knew what it was 
but I was wondering if the difference between the gen and the vsf is visible in a particular way (such as for reflections, etc.). In any case a DJ vsf with a smooth bezel is certainly closer to the gen, perhaps indistinguishable. I'm looking for it with smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet (like my gen also to understand the differences).

So I was told the z80 bezel and crystal is better than this model z66. Im looking at the Gen and this one and they look similar to me. The index alignment i do not know what to be looking for.

If you don't see a difference and you like it as it is what answers do you expect? It's your choice, don't let others choose for you. If you don't see flaws from magnified pics nobody will see anything.
Again, QC is for you to take a decision, not others.
The watch is fine. RL is no guarantee of getting a "better" one
You were warned already about showing QC pics from @mclarendude and he took them off a thread you started earlier.

Latest dj41 are z66, I didn't see any z80 cases this month. My last 3 (from 2 different td) dj41 had z66.
