His Pepsi inserts have been known that very lots of issues - paint peeling off, insert cracking, etc.
From reading this it seems the z80 case is the new batch from vsf and the way to go. I would consider doing the mint green with gen crystal…and adding a gen bezel fluted. What do you guys think.
Is the k6g bracelet the newest and is it better than the previous one? I would like to get it with jubilee bracelet + smooth bezel but the smooth bezel is not available at the moment. Do you think the fluted one is bad?

K6G = VSF jubilee. The latest batch from VSF all use the ARF bracelet for both ours yet and jubilee.
I have a K6G jubilee on my Datejust and it still feels a bit light and has sharp edges on the mid links. If this is better than the previous VSF made jubilee then I hate to think how bad that must have been….
Either way there is no comparison to the gen bracelet. If you’ve ever handled a gen jubilee the difference is night and day. Smooth, silky, no sharp edges, much better clasp action and detent click and the nice tactile weight it has. The rep bracelets feel like they have hollow links….
I have the gen at the poslo now. Your words make me think about whether it is better not to buy the rep (I would like to make a comparison but if these are your impressions I think about it a bit). Then I would like the smooth bezel because I have the gen like this.

Just did wg plating on my mint dj, looks so much brighter than stock.
In that pic it will, your left watch has light shining on it differently. You need to capture both from the same angle reflecting the same light to really show (which I’m sure it will show a far warmer color than the steel as white gold is warmer color temp than SS)

I get what you mean, no worries. The warm tone is there, just the plating makes it “reflect” white light so much more. Tbh the difference is marginal.

Got my DJ regulated to 0.X +/- depends on position of watch. I'm astonished that it can go for such a long time without any time gain/loss.

Looks great! How do you like the green vs a gen one? Did you unmount the bezel for playing or did the watchsmith did it for you?

I don’t have a gen for comparison so I can’t comment, I believe there are comparisons in earlier posts.
I got the watchsmith to unmount and mount the bezel. I don’t have the skillset for this haha.
got first batch after the ride z66 case jubilee bracelet blue dial . Changed clean v2 oyster bracelet, gen xtal, gen smooth bezel. at the indexes the dial is uneven so I ordered an original white dial which will be installed. Is the dial dent a common flaw or has it been just unluck?
