Thanks, I believe I covered what factory this is, picked it up mid year. VR with prof xtal and a platinum paint mod from Noleex. I’m still waiting for the arf insert from spongebob.

Hello All.

Just ordered VSF Smurf from Trusty. Waiting for it.

Do you suggest to get ARF bracelet on it or to go with it’s own bracelet??

I heard ARF makes good bracelets, especially Jubilee I Think.

Leave it as is. ARF don’t do a sub bracelet with PCL either.

Sure they do. They don't make a smurf but they make the bracelet. I got one for the glidelock and put it on my gmt.


That being said, vsf supposedly makes a good bracelet and also I believe I read somewhere that arf bracelets might not fit on vsf models.

I'll let you know when mine gets here.

My understanding is the GmT SEL is profiled differently to the Submariner. To your point, I have watches from both and I dont think the ARF bracelet and clasp are better.

I just tried my ARF GMT PCL on my VSF Sub. It's fits okayish, but I really don't see the point.

I've heard vsf makes a good bracelet and clasp but it's tough to keep all these other factorys straight. I forget the results of the 904 test pt did.

I also heard the arf bracelets have been having some QC issues.

As for the sel profile, I'm not sure what specifically you're referring to. Could you point it out? Be more specific or post a Pic please? Thank you.

You can see on Gingerbubba’s pic. The curvature of the ARF sel is not the same as the VSF lug.

The bracelet makes a watch.
It gives the watch it's feel.
The VSF Sub feels genuine when handled and is the only rep Sub I've ever handled that I can say that about.

That makes the VSF the best bracelet in the business.



I have an ARF 116610 bracelet here and I had to refinish the sharp edges..

I put it on a leather strap and it looked amazing. Only downside is it says “stainless steel” between the lugs so you want a strap that is flush to cover that up.

There are some pics online showing it on a rubber strap but I personally don’t like the way it looks.

I agree, at least in my experience. My ARF has an awesome bracelet but it took work to soften the edges.

But this VSF bracelet is not only beautiful, it needs no help, it's like I already worked it. First time I've felt that from an out of the box rep.
